In my impression, we always seem to be back-to-back against the Bucks in Game 2.This has always been a test of Harden's fitness.

 

Agreed, Harden's career average against Bucks is also better than his overall career average. He actually scored 38 with 56% shooting against the Bucks back in 2017, I don't see a major difference between that and 40 points. After all, 40 is just a threshold that is so happened to be divisible by 10 so people likes to use it. One thing we are sure of is that Harden doesn't struggle against the Bucks, the reason why he never scored 40 against them is largely due to relatively smaller sample size as a result of them being in a different conference.
