Happened 14 years ago. Literally the only thing I remember now about 2004-2005 is being up 2-0 against the Mavs and coming home and just blowing it, refs, game 7. Maybe it's the way this season has played out but the last thing I care about anymore is 13 in 33.

I liked it, but our present problems are considerable to say the least.

It is a bittersweet memory, because while it was an amazing moment, it also brings back memories of the general disappointment of the TMac / Yao years.

It was a transcendent moment in Rockets history, regardless of how one might feel about McGrady. It was against an arch rival, San Antonio, which meant a lot to me, having in-laws in SA with Spurs season tickets. The topper? We won! No glory diminished by a great basketball moment happening in a losing cause. Yeah, it was far out. What it isn't is an idea of how to get out of our current sh!tstorm of Rockets self-destruction. We are better than we are showing. It's maddening.

Was at the game. Man, that was the longest 33 seconds I've ever experienced. We had to foul every possession in the whole last minute -- except, of course, the last Spurs possession. :D

I mean, I care about it, but right now with how this team is playing it's kinda hard to really care about anything they do or have done.

No. It was fun for a decade or so. But it was a tease that never went anywhere. I'm too concerned about how we may waste the Harden era as well to keep paying homage to that moment.

But it was a great moment at the time.

Love the moment, it's bittersweet because the T-Mac and Yao era fell so short of expectations, but that moment and the 22 game winning streak were awesome and should be cherished.

The Spurs won the NBA title that year. Obviously didn't affect them.

You can have all the talent in the world, but if you have no leadership skills and aren't durable, you'll have many playoff exits.
