Watching this clippers game and Luc Mbah a Moute is still a very good player and should have been retained. He could easily be starting for us at forward. The Rockets defense is obviously going to be an issue. Is Morey too smart for his own good? Sometimes the obvious answers are the correct ones. Morey is too busy trying to find diamonds in the rough when he already found one. Just let the guy heal from his shoulder injury bruh Also montrez and Lou williams could have been great depth pieces for the Rockets. Morey could have kept them in the cp3 deal. Is Morey overrated?

No. Not one bit and there’s very few GM’s I’d trust more than Morey to make the right moves to course correct this big of a bad start to the season. I was stoked about the roster this year myself, and I think the talent is still there. I guarantee you Morey is more pissed than you about the start of the season and is going to try another direction for surrounding pieces if this continues.

Agreed. Montrez is a Rocket killer and i cant figure out what Morey is trying to do. You want to shoot more threes than everyone but you dont really have any pure three point shooters and give up lou will who is a great three point shooter. You want to play small ball centers out there but you give up Trez who would be a perfect small center. You want 3 and D players but give up Luc mbah a moute. I just dont get it. It really is Head scratching really.

he built an nba championship team last year. they just peaked last year and their window closed like the 2011 mavs.
Since the real games have started the team is proving all the critics right. This team just doesn't fit together and it's hard to see this team as is being much of a real contender. Morey has to have something else up his sleeve if he's serious about contending this year.

Do you know for a fact that Luc was even interested in remaining with the Rockets? Even if Morey had offered him a contract, there's nothing saying he would definitely have signed it.
He's not overrated. Can't force free agents to sign here. Sometimes players want to go play somewhere else for a variety of reasons.
