Harden's bad defense short clip gets upvoted on reddit /NBA again

We have to stop acting brand new. Harden and the Rockets struggles is what the NBA is thirsty for. Rockets played like concentrated ass. They should be humiliated in the Town Square.

0% chance he wins MVP this year. Glad his horrendous defense is finally getting more attention, he can’t be called a superstar giving that little of an effort on defense.

I find it amusing how whenever something is put forth that somebody doesn't like... it's dismissed as someone is "creating a narrative" ..yeh, their just creating a narrative, cause Harden (and the entire team) were playing lockdown defense last night...

 

If that irks you, don't search for the reddit thread on Altuve getting hosed last night. Reddit has been anti-Houston ever since its inception. Don't let the pasty white boys from Newton, MA get to ya. One day our planet will enter a nuclear winter. Why overreact after one game?

Harden has always had issues defending off the ball offense. It never changes, always the same issue year after year. The problem is that we had a ton of miscommunication in the first game of the season. When the Rockets went small they were playing zone defense. It almost seemed as if it were a foreign concept to some of the players in our team and the rotations were so awful it lead to easy buckets.

I never thought the defense this year would be as good as last year, so my expectations were low. I however expect the offense to be even better than last year .

 

To be fair...i'm pretty tire of seeing this lackluster defense myself. It's just trying. If someone scores on him and he's actually engaged, then so be it. In those clips, Harden isn't even turned correctly. Backdoor cuts to death.
