Nick and Chris are the only objective media people out there that call it how it is, but I hate the question at the end regarding Iggy's absence. Rockets haven't had one of their best bench role players all series in Luc... yes he's played, but lets be honest, he's either not physically right, or mentally right, or both.

He was -14, -8, and -27 against GSW in the 1st 3 games, and overall has been a net negative in the playoffs going back to the Utah series. Glad MDA ended up not playing him last night cuz that might have cost them the game.

Nick Wright went in. Even convinced Multiple Sources to agree too. Van Gundy planted the national seed during the Cavs-Celtics game on Monday night. So glad to see this narrative grow

that’s awesome! One thing though, why is Chris Carter saying that MDA is dishonest / disingenuous in interviews and not giving the media anything. To me he’s one of the funniest, down to earth, straightforward guys who actually takes even dumb questions with humour, That left right thing with Feigen not mentioning it was funny stuff and it’s not like any other coach is giving you an insight into strategy or anything..so is this a more common opinion or just part of some guy’s irrational hate?

So the Curry being hurt narrative is dead. LOL.

We can thank JVG and Barkley for that.

Don't forget Chauncey Billups calling out Jalen Rose and Paul Pierce on this as well.

Watched the whole thing. If you want to see the graphic in post 2, go to 7:53. If you want to save 7-8 minutes, just skip to every time Nick Wright talks.

I rarely watch NBA analysis, so I actually hadn't heard of Nick Wright. He was impressive, though; might have to watch him more. The other three at the table blathered on and on way too loud with almost no content, and he just spoke concisely and directly with a ton of facts every time he said something. Miles ahead of everyone else there. Good job, Nick Wright.

here's the another narrative bias they didn't mention:

they said "iggy being out hurt the warriors - his D on harden and some offense would've made up the 3 point difference...." well what about luc being out hurting the rockets?! his D on durant and some offense would've made it a larger lead.

in fact luc is probably more important to us. his +/- was one of the best on the team all season. he could have given some rest to guys playing too many minutes so we would've been even fresher down the stretch while the warriors were gassed. he could've played some 5 better than capela since he'd be better switching onto steph and more useful going 5-out on offense.
