GS isn't Utah at home, but the previous 2 road games will be helpful for us. The most important thing is that the team generally played well together. This should help us remain in a rhythm, and to handle a punch.

Legit points. We need Capela to eat minutes because we don't have anybody else. That's what we're down to here.

Clutch: 'There is tons of stuff we could go over for this game'

Then he gives us the shortest podcast of the post season.

I am greedy and demand more. This did not distract me from work long enough. I'm gonna have to go listen to Shannon Sharpe's opinions on the game now because there is nothing else. That's on you Clutch.

Can't listen now, but someone please tell which players Clutch overheard in the lockerroom after Game 1 talking about Scott Foster

Player 1: what's our record against Foster now
    Player 2: we've lost 5 games in a row, I think.

guess maybe Clutch wants this to remain lockerroom talk and no names.

The Rockets have to learn to deal with it but Foster screwed the Rockets. The Warriors were smart and had Durant go hard at Ariza and get him in foul trouble.

Actually, Durant didn't draw *any* fouls on Ariza in Game 1. @DonKnock posted the Matchup stats in the Ariza 0-14 Thread.

    The Game 1 fouls were

    3 fouls on Iggy
    1 on Green
    1 on Curry

and fwiw: they don't do anything special with Durant than they have done for two years. They always ISO Durant a lot.

Thanks @Clutch. Are there any further thoughts as of today on Paul's left leg being hobbled?

The way our small lineup completely negated this "death lineup" of Golden State is just not getting enough play. We've been hearing about this death lineup for years now. Our small lineup is eating their lunch.

Crank up the D even further. Don't let
Klay and Curry get open looks. Push them further out on the perimeter.

Take them off the dribble, if our shooters are cut off, take the ball to the hole. Tucker and Ariza need to put the ball on the floor, drive and dish if they are cut off too. The shots will start to fall eventually.

Having said that, the most important part in the preparation is handling pressure defense on Harden and Chris. Single and Double coverage is expected. EG has to step up again on both ends of the floor. We have to put in a supermax team effort. A very big overall game is needed from Chris and James. We need to be the aggressors from the start, but without sacrificing on defense.

All for One! One for All! Go Houston Rockets!

Draymond freelances to help on Capela......shooters like Ariza/Tucker/Gordon get open.

Draymond guarding Capela takes out Draymond from keeping Gordon/Harden from going all the way to the rack.

Draymond staying at home on perimeter unleashes “The Beast” named Capela for lobs/dunks/layups/put backs.

Reason Capela needs to continue getting 30 mins. Keeps the Warriors honest.

Guarding Curry or overplaying his drifting left for 3’s. I think Rockets are CF’ers, because they have
been playing Curry in such a manner. Has thrown him off his shot. Rockets need to expect screens coming as a mean of freeing him up. Continue favoring his left thru the switch.
