Re-signed Brian Peters (and the Shaner) too. Can't forget about the special teams, Tania. All three phases, Brian!!

Well if you can't sign the highest paid tackle (overpaid?), you can always sign the highest paid special teamer (overpaid?).

For the record I'm not tripping about this deal especially if he doesn't have to play much CB. It's not my money, they have the cap space. I just hope they get some more impact players

If we don't spend on special teams when we have a ton of cap space we never will. So much room for improvement in that area. We could probably afford to pay 2 guys to be special teams aces. Would love to get a bit more information on what makes this guy so good on teams and if that is a consensus opinion. Highest paid ST player, I think he would be well worth it if we get top 5 ST player production from him.

Can't hate on this signing if he's really a good special teamer. They NEED to be better at special teams. It's unreal that they can be as bad as they have been for as long as they have been. I'm very happy they've brought in a new coach with a great track record and that he's probably been able to advocate for a signing like this.

Who wants to bet that the Texans' special teams will still suck
