Warriors have a cupcake schedule but its hard to see us losing any of our games save for the Blazers since they have been hot

Basically if we go 11-4 it's a lock.

Great breakdown. Worriers remaining schedule is a complete bailout. Obv the #1 seed is a big deal but their biggest concern has to be making it to the finish line with a healthy Steph and Klay.

Man the Raptors really lucked out with the Celtics/Cavs b2b then Celtics right now with the injuries Boston has right now and Cleveland being pretty much a mess compared to a different point in the season

    Thanks @topfive

I get you. I just believe this team is too good to be beaten by anyone other then the upper crust of teams at this point.

Not to mention the Warriors catching the hapless Suns on the back half of all three of their back-to-backs.

Rockets will secure at least the 4th seed with a win over the Clippers tonight. If the Spurs beat the Pelicans as well, then the Rockets are guaranteed at least 3rd.

    According to http://www.playoffstatus.com/nba/rocketswhatif.html

Here are the percentages of the Rockets getting the 1 seed:

    • 15-0 - 100%
    • 14-1 - 100%
    • 13-2 - 100%
    • 12-3 - 98 %
    • 11-4 - 87%
    • 10-5 - 65%
    • 9-6 - 42%
    • 8-7 - 21%
    • 7-8 - 9%

Only way we drop to the 3 seed is if we go 3-12 or worse lol

It's hard to see us dropping 3 games. Anderson coming back too?

our .791 win percentage suggest we might win 11.86 of our remaining games.

one more loss for the warriors and raptors and we've got HCA through the finals.

if you want to round down and say we only win 11 more games, the warriors and raptors will have to lose 2 more times each for us to be on the safe side.

Current as of the games on 3/15

    Western Conference home court

The Rockets have 14 games left and hold the tiebreaker and a 2 game lead, while the Warriors have 14 games left.

    Our remaining schedule...

    8 home, 6 away (1 home and 2 travel back-to-backs):

    @ Pelicans \ back-to-back
    @ T-Wolves / back-to-back
    @ Blazers
    Pistons
    Pelicans \ back-to-back
    Hawks / back-to-back
    Bulls
    Suns
    @ Spurs
    Wizards
    Blazers
    Thunder
    @ Lakers \ back-to-back
    @ Kings / back-to-back

If the Rox go ____, the Dubs have to go ____ to regain the #1 seed:

    Rox 14 - 0 = Dubs impossible
    Rox 13 - 1 = Dubs impossible
    Rox 12 - 2 = Dubs impossible
    Rox 11 - 3 = Dubs 14 - 0
    Rox 10 - 4 = Dubs 13 - 1
    Rox 9 - 5 = Dubs 12 - 2
    Rox 8 - 6 = Dubs 11 - 3
    Rox 7 - 7 = Dubs 10 - 4

Keep in mind that Curry and Thompson will miss the next 3 games at least.

    The Warriors remaining schedule...

7 home, 7 away (3 travel back-to-backs, all with game 2 vs Suns):

    Kings \ back-to-back (playing without Curry/Klay/KD)
    @ Suns / back-to-back
    @ Spurs
    Hawks
    Jazz
    Pacers
    Bucks
    @ Kings \ back-to-back
    Suns / back-to-back
    @ Thunder
    @ Pacers
    Pelicans \ back-to-back
    @ Suns / back-to-back
    @ Jazz

    _____________________________________________________________________________

    Finals home court

The Rockets have 14 games left and a 3 game lead, while the Raptors also have 14 games left and hold the tiebreaker. Here's the scenario...

If the Rox go ____, the Raptors have to go ____ to regain the #1 seed:

    Rox 14 - 0 = Raptors impossible
    Rox 13 - 1 = Raptors impossible
    Rox 12 - 2 = Raptors impossible
    Rox 11 - 3 = Raptors 14 - 0
    Rox 10 - 4 = Raptors 13 - 1
    Rox 9 - 5 = Raptors 12 - 2
    Rox 8 - 6 = Raptors 11 - 3
    Rox 7 - 7 = Raptors 10 - 4

    The Raptors remaining schedule...

    8 home, 6 away (4 travel back-to-backs):

    Dallas / back-to-back
    Thunder
    @ Magic \ back-to-back
    @ Cavs / back-to-back
    Nets
    Clippers
    Nuggets
    @ Celtics \ back-to-back
    @ Cavs / back-to-back
    Celtics
    Pacers
    Magic \ back-to-back
    @ Pistons / back-to-back
    @ Heat

Also, if my thinking is correct, we're already guaranteed home court advantage for the first AND second rounds. It's practically impossible for anyone other than the Warriors to pass us in the WC, and we'd have a higher seed than all the other teams in the playoffs.
