I always want thunder to lose but the more I think about it, the more I think it helps our goal of a championship if the thunder gets the 3 seed and we get the 1 seed. Id like to see the warriors get the thunder in the 2nd round.
Eh, not sure tbh...i mean, i get what you're saying, but that would mean they're scary, one W against the Warriors can happen, two is already something to keep an eye on imo, if they beat them the third time well, we better consider OKC really seriously for the playoffs like those idiots on ESPN are saying.
I am not worried about OKC in the playoffs. If the Rockets are healthy, I just don't see OKC beating them 4 times. There only two things the Rockets need to be concerned about: (1) Themselves and (2) the Warriors. If the Rockets are in sync, no team besides GS can hang with them in a 7-game series.
I'm fine with hearing, "Russ is the real MVP" and "OKC is the only team that can beat the Warriors in a 7 game series" in the media for the next month if OKC can pull out a win.
It's all about matchups. GSW is a bad defensive rebounding team and OKC is a great offensive rebounding team. No one on GSW can guard Russ or stop his speed. It just a bad matchup Rockets are a good defensive rebounding team and have multiple players that can guard Russ. Not saying OKC won't be a hard out, I'm saying the Rockets match up well with the Thunder.
