Clippers are literally right there for the 7th seed right now. That means a potential matchup in Round 1. That is scary. They are full of ex-Rockets seeking revenge. Griffin and Jordan want revenge against their ex-Clipper for leaving. They know they won't win the championship but if they take Rockets to 7 games or outright upset, that's their championship. If Rockets face Clippers in Round 1, they could be taken deep in the series, get banged up and exhausted and become easier to defeat in Round 2. Clippers as 7th seed is a nightmare for Rockets.
Jimmy would literally destroy this Clippers team in the playoffs. Playing with a bum leg he dropped 50 on them.
First OP claims we should be scared of the Thunder, now it’s the Clippers. Stop dickriding these teams.
So The Rockets should be afraid of the Spurs, Wolves, Thunder, Warriors, and now the Clippers. There aren't too many teams left.
Jesus Christ, you're scared of every damn team in the league. When we get Harden back, we'll curbstomp those frontrunning douchebags.
The Clippers aren't going to be a threat to us. They're a broken toe from Blake away from missing the post-season. Tonight was just one of those nights. The uglier team got the victory, and we didn't have our Goat. Don't worry about LAC. They're going to look very different in Feb. DJ wants out at all costs. DGall is constantly injured. Austin is inconsistent. SO, there is Blake. When he's healthy, he's a load and a great talent. But, every year, right near the playoffs, his body gives out. I don't wish it on him, but it's just the reality. I hope Pat Bev heals just for his sake. Still love the guy even if he plays with some douchehats
To be clear, I'm not saying Clippers will beat the Rockets, both at full strength. What I am saying is that it will be a hard fought physical game. Ex-Rockets will want revenge. Griffin will want to kick Chris Paul's ass for leaving. Rockets will win but it won't be a cakewalk. Clippers will be up for this matchup far more than Nuggets or TrailBlazers. It will sap the Rockets for Round 2.
No love for him after tonight.... F him..... Seriously, he didn't have to instigate. Support your team, jump in and enjoy the win but he instigated the whole night. How quickly he forgets who he used to roll with.....
Pat just talks and talks....he wasn't instigating. That was all Blake, Austin and believe it or not, Trez. Then, it became contagious. I'm proud of Trev for not taking Blake's antics any longer. Blake Griffin is a regular season star. That's it. His legacy ends between games 1-82. After that, it's a series of losses, injuries, assaults on team staffers and creating a triangular conflict among CP/FreeMason/Blake. It's commonly alleged that Blake caused the rifts in the locker room because he wanted to be the man, even though CP3 is the main reason Blake had open shots, dunks and success. DJ knew how valuable CP was to the team and his individual stats. But, Blake is immature and created a "he said" about "you said" situation. From there, the personal chemistry suffered. There were second round exits. And now, we have arguable one of the best guards of all time in Houston. LAC has a PF who doesn't yet know how to adapt his game to become durable and avoid season-ending injuries. LAC also has an overpaid, overrated center whose game isn't conducive to most NBA offenses...he lacks any sort of shot and is starting to lose focus and explosiveness. Houston wins this scenario on all accounts. Hey Doc and Austin, JSmoov says hello from Game 6.
