Paul came up big for Houston, then told James Harden: “I got you.”

It was cool to see Paul reassuring Harden he doesn’t have to do it all by himself anymore.

On the same play, I thought I saw James a little frustrated that he wasn't getting the ball. Paul held his hand out as kind of reassuring gesture toward Harden, and immediately getting a pick from Black to pull up for the dagger. That is when he turns around, smiles, and tells his buddy, "I got you..." with a cheeky grin.

They are slowly gaining extreme respect for one-another, perfect chemistry for a title run.

The first rounder was kind of nuts but definitely not going to be worth anything after this season.

That first rounder is worth less than an early 2nd rounder this season if the Rockets keep it up.

Talent level between a late and early 2nd rounder is minimal, but late first rounders are less cap friendly. Morey obviously didn't acquire Chris Paul thinking the Rockets would be anything less than a top 3 team in this league, so for him that late first rounder is better on paper than in practice.

Chris Paul was hot, so Harden knows to go with the hot hand. Even though we know Harden likes the ball in his hand in moments like this. Big fella its time to share that spotlight.

    Love it

I hope Harden noticed the effectiveness of the midrange stop and pop, too. While he has his stepback shot from there, it seems like he forgets he can do that sometimes.

That mid range shot in the clutch is going to be a HUGE weapon moving forward. If teams know we have that in a tight game it makes us impossible to defend in the closing seconds. CP3 demoralized Hornets, Spurs and Bucks with it. Like “oh yeah, we also do this.”

Watching CP3 and Harden’s chemistry is like watching Correa and Altuve hug after a Correa bomb. It’s ****ing beautiful man.
