Are we just going to ignore that the Brooklyn Nets aren't terrible anymore?

They have the #1 offense in the league. Doubters will say they also have the last ranked defense in the league. Screw the doubters! Screw'um.

    Long live the Crooklyn nets!

They weren't terrible since they got Atkinson and Seans.
I know that the record was the worst last season, but if anyone watched them instead of just box score watching, they could see that they had a beautiful offensive system already and started having an actual culture.

Brooklyn is in the weak east and can be a top 8 team with a losing record. Too bad for Lin and LOFs he can't be part of this.

Tinman and Lone wolf is battling in WW3 on the Lin tread now...lol

Lavert is having himself a field day... just needs to hone a few skills. Big fan of Brooklyn now.

Lol Allen Crabbe with 25 pts in 20 mins. And people were saying his contract is worse than Anderson

They're not going to burn the world on fire, but they have the right system and offensive philosophy for the modern NBA.

I really like how Marks drafted these last years, LeVert, Jefferson and Allen are all very good prospects imo.

Also getting Russell to eat Mozgov contract was a great move, Russell still needs to prove himself but they have a perfect enviroment to help him become the player he can be.

I am just amazed that you made another laughable thread BUT has nothing to do with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Even if Lin was healthy, he would have been the odd man out in this Nets team. The management expected Lin to opt out his contract before he got injured. They are determined to build around their young core of DLo, Levert, and Crabbie, etc.

Now Lin is injured, he will definitely pick up the 12m player option next year. The Nets can waive him or play him as DLo.'s backup for 15-20 mins when he comes back. It is probably good for Lin at this stage of his career.

At least they don't have the PHX Suns "Don't Want to Be Here" disease. No incentive to tank because no pick, young guys with enough experience to win some games, and motivation to prove that they belong, and seems like a good coach, too.

They started last season 4-5 and looked fairly well coached too. Then the wheels fell off. I expect a 30-35 win season this year just because the East is that much worse than last year.

A lot of it was injuries last season, Lin especially, but this year they are winning even after suffering a major injury. I think they will be OK as long as their remaining rotation players stay healthy (and don't get traded for future assets, which the team may well do).
