    I still think they haven't done enough to honor Dream
    the cheap ass statue in front of Toyota Center is not enough.
    Think about this, nobody has brought a championship to Houston, much less 2 back to back.

    Come on Tinman, you know the Rockets would have built the biggest monument possible for Hakeem outside Toyota Center if it wasn't for his beliefs not allowing them to do so. Not saying I don't agree with your main point, but I think that's a bad example.

    It still sucks. They could have at least done something abstract or creative.
    At least make it bigger.

    i will always have disdain towards the rockets organization that was in place during hakeem's retirement ceremony. I felt it was rushed and very very cheap the way it was done, Just a classless move.

    yes that is very sad leslie alexander is such a cheap skate he cant put up a statue for hakeem even the hawks put a statue for dominique wilkins the jazz did it for malone and stock and those guys didnt get them any titles. Just shows you the what have you done for me lately mentallity, good riddance leslie dont the door hit you on the way out. Guarentee yao gets a staue b4 dream so they can keep that yen coming in.

    My god.....are you ignorant or just stupid? Les was going build a statue but Hakeem himself was against it due to his religious beliefs.

    To be fair, Leslie didn't see Hakeem grow from a rookie to his all-time-best status like how yao was drafted, looked after and groomed by Leslie's Rockets.

    You realize they could be creative and just name something "DREAM" without mention his full name.

    I would have giant letters "DREAM" somewhere in front of the stadium.
