    This morning a Jazz fan and I had the pleasure of discussing where our teams go from here. I said I'd like the Rockets to shore up their PF/C rotation. TL;DR --- this guy says he would take Jeff Withey over Capela on his team and "it's not even close". What say ye, Rockets homer army?

    I don't think that either of them is all that great.

    Capela is clearly the more valuable player.

    You made good points. Clint is definitely still improving and had a better season than Dwight ever did here. I havent seen enough of Whitey but he really wasnt impressive in my small sample size.

    Thanks. I work for Adobe here and have a partial scholarship to a Masters at the U. So it's not all bad!

    There are homers everywhere. Last year there were multiple people in this site that were saying that DMO is better than Millsap and also two years ago I remember arguing with someone here on why Brewer is worse than Batum! Even that had to be debated!

    So that's nothing much.

    This is a daily occurrence. We're teammates on a project at work, and we have an IM system. He's a rabid basketball fan.

    We cover a lot of NBA ground but today just happened to be the Jeff Withey show.

    Meh, Withey is usually going against the second units of teams.

    Capela is a starter, your buddy doesn't seem to account for that. If we Had Nene starting and Capela off the bench with fresh legs against most teams second units I'm sure he'd average more than one block per 13 minutes.

    His hands are suspect and usually people's first gripe. He needs to be taught how to keep the ball over his head when going back up with it rather than bringing it down to the floor when gather for a follow up dunk or layup just like Yao used to do.

    Overall, I don't feel like Withey would be able to stay in a starting 5 on a playoff squad. They're lucky they have Gobert to handle those duties.

    I loved Withey in college but haven't seen much of him in the pros.
