Losing games they should bag is becoming a regular thing. Gordon and Andersen's output has gone down considerably these past 10-12 games and the team itself looks pretty complacent. IMO, there is reason for real concern moving forward.
4 in 5 after multiple b2bs and am insane amount of road games and games overall equals tired legs. Asg will do us wonders especially with the much much easier schedule upcoming Also, firsty
I think the schedule is catching up to them (especially Eric Gordon), but I also think that yes, they probably did peak back in December. The defense is a disaster right now compared to then. Now...if that's the case, then their peak is one of the best teams in the league. If they can get that back together, then they'll be fine, but they won't get back to that level with the defense we've seen in January.
Rockets have played almost 5 more games than the average NBA team. They are spent and starting to get nicked because rotation is so shallow.
Tired legs explain away poor shooting, not turnovers. (looking at you beard.) in all honesty this may end up being a wake up call for James when it comes to ball security.
Idk we had two long ass win streak, exceeding everyone's expectation with new coach/playstyle/players, 3rd in the West. I still say we are just fine. Can't wait for Rockets to get some rest, they play a sht ton more than everyone right now, which is r****ded.
I'm not sure why fans are complaining and panicking. Still the third seed having played a brutal schedule. The bright side, if that isn't bright enough, is that February's schedule looks quite favorable.
They've traveled around the world twice with their schedule. The cavs have played like 20 games. Let the beef cook.
Harden rolled his ankle at the end of the first half , it definitely affected his game . We are beat up , and the refs are letting it happen .
14 out of 1st 20 games on the road. Dec was a weaker schedule as it levels out. Little tougher schedule now with Ryno dealing with the flu, Gordon dealing with a toe & mild sprained ankle issue. Capela is back now & working his way back into condition.....screws up the minutes x Harrell/Nene. General fatigue team wide.
The Rockets will be fine. But Morey needs to get someone that could help the team. I've been fine with Brewer cause of his veteran presence and his goat. But we need someone who can add a firing power from the bench besides Gordon and Dekker. Nene is another underrated signing by Morey. He really helps us against big teams along with Capela since Harrell is too small to be guarding them.
