Hornacek decided to throw the white flag and go on development. And have Porzingis start at C and Melo at the 4 finally. But WHY the heck he decided to do it against Atlanta with Dwight? He could eat Porz alive. He should ahve chosen to do it against a team with a weaker C or better yet against one with not a real C. Too bad that Ben Simmons hasn't come back to play yet. Simmons vs Giannis could be a very interesting matchup of pointforwards.
I don't watch the Hawks much, but Schroder can really ball. Reminds me of Jamal Crawford, who for years played out of position as a starting PG until finding his rightful place in the NBA as a 6th man extraordinaire.
Well Porz is out injured and Dwight was rested. Don't understand why he took Courtney Lee out of the starting lineup either...
Before the start of the season, I had fears this is what we'd look like - score plenty, but give up plenty and some extra. Credit our coaches and players for stepping up on D.
Steven Adams is OUT tonight for the Thunder. Concussion. Could also be out Wednesday when Thunder play the Warriors.
Last year the Rockets had high expectations and we were left with them talking about "turning corners." All the while a low-expectation team in the Blazers forged chemistry and had a great season. Simmons returns from injury, Philly makes playoffs by winning the last game of the season... That'd be quite a story.
