What win streak?

 

If only we could eradicate the dumb TO's from our game.

 

Cleveland is on cruise control. Lebron isn't giving 100%. And the load is shared with Kyrie/Love/etc.

We are not on cruise control, and Harden is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

We will get better, but so will other teams. Cavs peak > our peak (until we get another star)

 

I'd feel good about our chances for a first round victory if we could get that defensive efficiency to around 15 or so.

 

Let's get that defense up to league average!

As long as we get a top 4 seed, a first round series win shouldn't be too difficult. Now second round, that's another story without a trade maybe, unless it's the Clippers of course.

 

You think Harden giving 100% on D ? or even on offense?

 

Recently I noticed Harden has added another variety of TO to his arsenal, he manages the ball to be stolen from him from behind him by the defender who is late to return back on his half. He does it almost every game lately if I am not mistaken or every other game.

 

Thanks for your contribution this season so far this season heyp. It's really important to bring up stats and put it into context these days so there is a level of objectivity. Eyetest has it's place but it should never be considered adequate, since most people will just see what they want to see and ignore the rest, like BJ Armstrong.

I know Net rating is considered a good predictive tool but it's hard for me to accept it. Defensive minded teams will automatically have less Net ratings due to slower pace and less possession. It doesn't mean they're not as good.
Memphis is 12-0 this year in games won under 5 points/overtime.
