Well here we go with the crazy - they tried this (charging cash for autographs and what not) last year at the Fan Fest but the event got cancelled due to inclement weather. This year they made it (the autographs in particular) much more expensive:

    Autographs
    $50 - Anderson/Brewer/Capela
    $50 - Ariza/Harrell/McDaniels
    $50 - Beverly/Prigioni/Gordon
    $100 (!) - Harden/Nene/Dekker

    Photos
    $20 - Payton/Onuaku

    Other
$10 - Free Throw pass (supposedly you get your picture taken as well)
$20 - High Five Tunnel pass
$150 - Open practice experience pass (includes tunnel, sitting on bench w/players during practice, and photo w/team after practice - probably group photo w/all who purchased this)

The ONLY redeeming quality about these prices is that supposedly the proceeds benefit Target Hunger and Casa de Esperanza. If i had enough disposable income i would buy the $150 experience but i still don't think it'd be worth it. Not sure how the donated food factors into any of this.

Open practice experience would be great actually. Much more memorable than spending the same amount of money on lower bowl tickets to a game.

Now that i'll agree with - still a lot to spend for a free event is all. There were days not too long ago where as long as you were among the first 500-1000 you get free autographs.

I hope they raise a lot of money. Seems like a very good cause.

A lot of these scrubs would have to pay me to take their autographs and even then I may be hesitant.

For what reason are Nene and Dekker placed in the $100 category with James?

I just realized why V-Span started with the I was McGrady back in Greece and got traded in Summer 07. I went to the 06 open practice with some friends and they wanted a Rockets shirt signed. I was in line for Luther Head and Rafer Alston and they were in line for V-Span and some other Rockets scrub (Morey had not been around long enough so I can't remember who...probably John Lucas). Anyways, They see its V-Span and Lucas and they call my name and throw me their shirt to get it signed by Head and Alston instead of those scrubs. In fact they didn't even go down to get the free paper with the scrubs signatures on it.

Then V-Span starts the whole I was T-Mac back home and ends up getting traded for Scola. Happy ending.

No need to get x rated now. This is after a family friend forum.. Besides it's not the size of the package that matters but the motion in the ocean.

You'd probably be better off going to Tristar for autographs/photos.

Not fair. 100% of the money collected is for charity...it's a donation.

Also, the price for the autograph is for 1 item signed by EACH player in that grouping. All this info is listed on the page on rockets.com
