What's your random bold prediction for 2016-17?

    What's an outlier bold prediction some of you may? Not "I predict 42-40 and an 8th seed.." But rather...

    For instance, I think the rockets will surpass gsw and sas offensively and be the most potent offense in the league. I can see us scoring the most ppg and be prettymuch the most efficient. Maybe not basic %s like 2pt% and 3pt%, but rather ts% and eFG%.

    So what are some of your boldest predictions?

    Pretty interesting take @kevC that sounds reasonable to expect a rocky start and then really catch steam

    wrt BigMaloes bold prediction ... I think we can pass SAS on ORtg, maybe. But passing GSW is nearly impossible because how wildly alone they are in made 3ptrs, and they added Durant who also gets to the line at a huge clip. It is as mathematically impossible as team stats like this get to think anyone can pass GSW on ORtg or TS% or eFG% when they are in a different stratosphere making 3s.

    Scoring more points? Maybe that's doable

    I def understand that theory, and i realize gsw offensive dominance. I think losing bogut hurts them and outlawing geoin kicks and an inproved focus on illegal screens slows them down.

    but for some reason I think mda is gonna play even more moreyball than ever. It's going to be all out 3s, at the rim and fts. Something about his "going all out quote" sat with me about his philosophy this year.

    Idk if we will and I know its unlikely but it wouldn't be bold if I said top 3 ☺

    As an aside about the likes, yeah I like errthangg just as I would on fb lol

    Increase pace to increase pts and increase 3s doesn't make you a more efficient 3pt shooting team like GSW is. They shoot like 42% as a team!

    Rockets already league the lead in shooting threes so that won't increase much. I sure as fggk hope it doesn't. If our 3s increase much above our NBA leading totals, it means our offense sucks
