We are tied with the Lakers in record at 45-20. From 10th to 1st. Oh yeah baby. Sunday's game is of ultra importance. I know its one game but season series tied at 1-1. Winner gets tiebreaker.
Rockets are still #2 seed, as mentioned above, Lakers have a better conference record which keeps them as the #1 seed.
I'm sure Phil Jackson will use T-Mac's quote that we are now the 1st seed to motivate his team on Sunday. Sigh.
Just jinx the Lakersand start a thread in NBA Dish about the Laker's being the best. We need your help!
That's the beauty of this team when one struggles others pick up the slack. When you have a team that relies so much on two or three players (like Rockets of recent years) you're screwed. Look back to the recent game when T-Mac struggled and Yao was out. Our team switched up and clamped down on D to win.
Is that official? I know he twisted his ankle tonight and had to leave the game but I haven't seen anything, positive or negative, regarding his status for future games.
