I know this was posted in the selection thread, but people coming in later tonight and tomorrow might not read that if they already heard that Clemens and Lidge made the team. In any event, with this BBS and unlimited voting, Roy stands a great chance.

You can go through the link in my sig, or just go through it here.
    http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/events/all_star/y2005/index.jsp

Click on "Final Vote", fill out your email (doesn't have to be real), Zip and Birthday, and vote for Roy... and then vote again another 100 times or so! :) Spread the word, and let's get this done... I've already submitted 50 or so votes in the first 30 minutes.

    Go Roy and Go 'Stros!

The final vote should come down to Roy O vs. Hoffman. Wagner and Myers will split the Philly vote, and nobody in their right mind will vote for Webb...he doesn't have "sexy" numbers and the Diamondbacks don't have much of a fan base (either locally or nationwide).

I wonder if it's really taking the vote. I typed in the validation key # wrong and it still says thank you for voting and list my selection.

ESPN's readers poll puts Roy at a companding lead at 31 percent to 21 percent. Hopefully this is a good indication of the MLB offical vote

Might as well just keep voting for Roy while watching him in the game today. Let's hope Trevor doesn't get the chance to show his worth in the next few days.

Roy O. is currently in the lead by a small margin. Definitely still needs some more helo because I expected him to win by a decent margin, but apparently it is pretty close still.

By the way ... Is there anyone out there that would actually pay $0.99 per ballot to vote via cell phone? I just can't imagine anyone paying that.

I was wondering that myself. Who would actually pay to vote?

Anyway, I've got about 40 of those votes for Roy myself. I've still got another email address I can use.

I don't think there is a limit for how many times you can vote. I'm not sure how many times I voted but it's got to be close to 100+

Just make up any email address, doesn't have to be real...for example ahskfgskgrw@hotmail.com works perfectly fine

Spent about 10 minutes of otherwise productive worktime.

Roy really deserves it anyway, everyone vote for him.

The limit is supposed to be 25 per email address. It did cut me off after a while. I had lost track of how many I was on. I switched to another email address and kept going.

For this vote not the original all star ballot? I know the original all star ballot had a 25 vote limit.

I spent 45 minutues Sunday voting Roy in and that I know was over 25. I lost count around 40 something. Today I've voted 3 different times, each time I did 10 votes.

It's no biggie, I just hope all my votes are being counted.

I timed myself and I averaged about 6-7 votes per minute and I voted for 20 min, so that's 120 - 140 votes for Roy O. and Carl Crawford.

I sure hope Roy O. gets in, that man deserves it.
