Damn! Who would have ever thought Delk would go off for 53 points??? It was an OT game, but he still deserves props for this performance: 50 Minutes 53 Points 20-27 FGs 13-15 FTs 6 Rebounds 1 Steal Not to mention, it was against his old team! Pretty damn impressive if you ask me! ------------------ [This message has been edited by countingcrow (edited January 03, 2001).]
Sactown is a serious contender this year. But Webber is still leaving. ------------------ I Bleed Rockets Pajama-Pinstriped-Blue!
Penny-who? Between Delk's offensive abilities and the Junkyard Dog's defensive tenacity, they're making the folks in Phoenix forget about Hardaway fast. Maybe the Suns should just package Penny with Tsakidalis(sp?) or a future first rounder for Mutumbo. I'm not sure Atlanta will fall for that, but thats probably as good an offer the Hawks will hear. It would instantly put the Suns at the same level as the Blazers, Lakers and Spurs. Azim da Dream ------------------ We don't live for the destination. I listened to most of this game , Tony Delk simply shredded the Kings , Peja Stojovic and Vlade Divac were not able to get in Delk's face when he drove the lane , In Two games the Kings have given up 99 points to the shooting guard ------------------ "Its a good thing they don't make posters of European players" -Walt Williams after getting "posterized" by Zan Tabak .
Anybody who shoots 70% from the field and goes off for 50+ better not have any assists, he'd be stupid to pass the ball, and the coach would be even more stupid to tell him to. ------------------
I think Webb'll leave too, but it's stupid. He owns the freakin' Kings, AND they've been much better than the Knicks ------------------ C-son ______________ "If you wanna feel funky feel free, but please don't get the funk on me."

This was not just luck. The guy can score. Wasn't he the top scorer for UK when they won a national championship his senior year? That was on a team that had Antoine Walker, Ron Mercer, and Derek Anderson. ------------------
