Do you mean good or cheap? Cause the honeymoon packages through Disney World that are on property kick ass, but you will pay out the ass for them.
Please tell me you're kidding! For what you would spend to do that, unless her parents live in Orlando and you are planning to stay with your in-laws, you could be laying on a soft, sandy beach, sipping a cool drink, and watching the sun set. Or relaxing at a mountain lodge, in a hot tub, sipping a cool drink and watching the sun set. Dude!
You want to interrupt a 24 hour sex fest to ride the teacups? If I were you, I'd only go to Disneyworld on the condition that she give you a BJ on It's a Small World...
to each his own, it's your honeymoon. Deck's ideas are pretty much what i'd be thinking, but A-train just might be on to something.
the most popular honeymoon destination in the US, last time I checked, is Walt DisneyWorld. email me NBAHOU...my family is Disney crazy...I can give you some ideas.
Hey, jackasses, I spent my honeymoon at Disney World. Try DisBoards and MouseSavers for information. Also, I'd recommend hitting up Universal Studios while in Orlando. It freaking rocks and is much more "adult" than Disney.
"...anyone know where I can find a goodpackage?" _____________ I wouldn't worry ~ 'it' got you this far...
Ditto. I spent my honeymoon in Orlando in 2001. The first day (in December) was at Universal/Islands of Adventure. In December you can do MUCH more in one day. After that we stayed at the Grand Floridian. Expensive...but sooooo worth it.
I went to Orlando on vacation a few years ago. Universal Studios and the City Walk are the best things there. If you go check out NBA city, its off the chain over there.
I guess this would be cool, but I'm not sure I'd do it...To each his own, as they say... My idea would be going to Bali or Bora Bora, etc...Good Luck...
would have been mine, too...but i couldn't afford it back then. my parents had a timeshare through Disney and they offered it to us for a honeymoon. we bit, because there really was no other alternative. i was graduating from college, about to begin law school...she was graduating, and about to being teaching first grade. we had a blast!
I was very low on funds when I first married. Our honey moon was to a very budget cabin in Maine. Our first vacation which still felt like a honeymoon was to Disney World. I love that place. I would happily go every year if I could afford it. But maybe it is still special because we can't go all the time. The admission to the park is as much as lodging etc. I can tell you that to get the most out of Disney World and avoid the lines get 'The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.' That book saved me so much time. I almost never waited in lines, and with two adults and no kids we were able to be way ahead of the schedule in the book, and ride our favorites more than once, take in an extra show etc. I understand that Disney isn't the place for everyone, and I don't know that it would be my top honeymoon destination, but I do know that it is a lot of fun, and you should have a great time.
If my tickets weren't already booked I wouldn't be telling you this but... You MUST book a Dolphin Day at Discovery Cove. They have several man-made lagoons where you can snorkel with all different kinds of sea life including rays, but (for an extra charge of course) you can also have a 30 minute swim session with a dolphin. check out discoverycove.com The spots fill up fast so check it out soon.
That would build up a good appetite for the shark fin soup they plan on serving at Disney Hong Kong. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/mai...4.xml&sSheet=/portal/2005/05/24/ixportal.html
haha, funny.. Well shes always wanted to go to Disney World since she was a kid, and never had the chance cause her parents were screwed up, and her mom left her when she was 8 yrs old. So its pretty exciting for her to go, plus ive heard you should go there once before you have kids to enjoy it yourself. We plan on being there for 5 days, 4 nights. Thanks for the advice.
