    Rockets workouts today

Today they worked out Joey Graham, his brother Stephen Graham , Eric Williams from Wake Forest and some other guy who I can't remember because he obviously throated quite hard.

Joey Graham was really good. Definitely looks like a first round pick. His brother was a banger but little else. Most likely brought in as a favor to Joey. Williams had a solid workout too. The other dude was not as bad as I made him out to be but he was clearly the worst of the bunch. I want to say his name was Deandre or something to that effect. Lucas's workout has been the worst so far.

Is Joey Graham a small forward or two guard.

I'm confused. I think I need some further "throating" categorization before I can get a real feel for how each guy did. You were kinda vague there.

    For example, you could do:

    Did not throat:

    Throated:

    Throated HARD:

And list the players for each. Then you'd really be on to something. Everyone would be reading your workout reports.

I would definitely say SF. He doesn't seem to handle the ball well enough to be a two guard. He definitely impressed though.

As far as gay p*rn goes, you're on your own on that one bro.

AstroRocket that's a good idea. I will keep it into three categories to make it clear.

The GARM is becoming very cliquish. I only venture here once in a while, and I don't what the heck you guys are talking about "throating"?

I was glad someone explained "Sura Faints" in the hangout.

No, I don't have any information on that right now. It's still real early and it's pretty obvious who the Rockets like in free agency (the same guys we went after last season and possibly Rahim). I think everything else is just speculation. i don't see any scenario where we get a Tyson Chandler or some of the other guys that have been suggested.

I would probably say he is a SF, he's got the size of a SF, and like KAS said, he didn't do a lot of ball handling at OK ST.

I think Graham will be gone before #24.

His ball handling isn't bad but it's not good either. The one thing you can say for Graham is that he has improved every year. I agree that he won't be there at 24 either but he's the most legitimate player we've brought in so far.

Thanks for the scoop. Now if we can only get the 3 year olds to stop posting in your threads...

What makes you say Graham looked good? What stood out about him. I'm asking for those of us like me who really don't follow college ball much.

    Thanks for the info KAS.

Who from the Rockets coaching staff is running these workouts? Which NBA pro does Graham remind you of?

No coaches are there just Rockets scouts. I don't want to put anyone's name on a message board.

There's a lot of things to like about Graham. First off, he's really strong. He already has an NBA body and is a tremendous athlete. His mid range jumper was really solid too. He has good range (maybe not 3 point range but good enough). He also hustles a lot, definitely a JVG type player.

If you had to compare him to someone it might be Corey Maggette. They have the same build and athleticism. I thin Graham is actually stonger. Maggette probably has better range and ball handling skills.

    Thanks for the info KAS13.

Did any of these guys look like they were ready to guard NBA SF's yet? I mean, how did they look defensively?
