I know it's easy to look at it now, but the Rockets would be real nice right now with Amare. They were so enamored with Yao though. Oh well, we can only dream.

If Rockets drafted Amare, then T-mac wouldn't have come to Houston; do you honestly think Amare+Francis is better than Yao+T-mac?
You get 2 players from Nash, Marion and Joe Johnson from Suns, Yao would look much better than Amare. Did you notice Amare never gets double teamed in this game? Dallas just can't afford to put two guys on him.
Sorry Yao has not shown he's the best player in the draft. Dont fool yourself. Houston make a mistake, just like 6 or 7 other teams. Suns wont trade Amare for Yao now. U can forget about it. But rockets still have choices. They can trade Yao or refuse to extend his contract. Or u can be suns fan.
Why? Because CD had a crystal ball that told him if they got Amare instead of Yao T-Mac wouldn't come here!!! He would join Shaq in Miami! And Yao+TMac will attract more FAs now that they've shown their impact in the playoffs!
I still think Amare = Shawn Kemp. If I remember correctly, 8 teams passed up Amare. He had a questionable past and scared off alot of teams. I think someone put nicely with these "What If" threads...
Well, i think this should be a poll thread. I'm curious to see how many of the Rockets fans really think Amare is better than Yao and we should have drafted Amare.
