Rockets, no doubt about it. Last nite was an example what we should have done to the mavs in game 3 and 4.

Remember, we win and lose in streaks, it's been the case all season and it won't change now

Rockets in 7. However, win or lose the 2004-2005 Rockets are an awesome team.

Onto somethings that have bugged me...

Why were some of us scared? I swear, it's like everyone forgot how the Rockets finished the season. Lets not forget that the Rockets were playing at a near DOMINANT level, beating hot teams at home and on the road, and that was AFTER the Howard injury. They were putting beatings night after night on very good teams either with great defense, great offense, and most of the time, BOTH. T-Mac was playing at an MVP level, and Yao, for the first time in his career, was finishing the season stronger than ever possibly playing the best ball of his career. The Mavericks, although they won 7 more games, never really played as well as the Rockets did in that stretch that's why I couldn't believe that so many fans were doubting this team.

Lets not underrate the Rockets and overrate the Mavericks! How many superstars do the Mavs have? ONE. How many All Stars? ONE. Finley and I think Stackhouse are FORMER All Stars. The role players on the Rockets might not be spectacular, but they are multi-skilled and they know basketball. Avery's a former Rocket so lets not even talk about coaching.

Our superstar is the team (for the most part), their superstar... Well, I've been high on him all season long, but in this particular playoff series his team has looked better more times than not with him on the bench. The All Star Yao is the only All Star/Former All Star that can impact the game on BOTH ends of the court. Their two FORMER All Stars are offensive players only, if they don't score, they don't impact the game.

Our role players are SEVERELY underrated! We look at their role players like Terry, Howard, Harris, and Daniels and we perceive them to be better because they're younger and more athletic. I'm like, who cares? The guys on the Rockets have ALL the skills, experience, and like I said, they KNOW basketball. Give me Mutombo, Barry, Wesley, James, Sura, Bowen, and Padgett over Dampier, Terry, Howard, Harris, Henderson, and Daniels. I mean those guys aren't bad players, but a lot of times we mistake youth and athleticism for talent, that's not always the case.

I read one post the other day that said Wesley, Barry, and Sura COMBINED are not as talented as Jason Terry, that was so ridiculous, I wanted to throw up.

Coming into the series we weren't favored, but we were the favorites to win last night, and we've already beat this team two games in a row at Dallas. I thinkwe're 4 point underdogs tomorrow night but if this team plays defense and passes like they did last night they will not lose. The shots don't even have to fall as much as they did last night, just keep everyone involved and play defense.

Rockets in 7. However, win or lose the 2004-2005 Rockets are an awesome team.

Wow, that's one of the longest posts I've ever seen in this type of thread.

Crossing my fingers for a blowout, but how can this game not be a close one? Please win!
