    Purely unscientific!
    Just wondering what you guys want to see in your third jersey.

    Black
    The safe choice. With red or silver secondary trim. See Minnesota and I think Boston is using black this year.

    Silver
    Not like Dallas' short lived third. More like a dull or semi-shiny silver. Spurs use a shiny on their sides.

    Retro or "New Retro"
    Kinda like Nike rewind where they took hints of old jerseys and mixed them with modern colors or motifs. Dallas' P-Diddy greens are what come to mind.

    Other things to spark conversation:
    - "Houston" or "Rockets"
    - mesh or dazzle
    - navy?
    - what space pop culture icon best typefies what you would like in a 3rd (Jetsons, Flash Gordon, Star Trek, NASA)?

    Black and dark red, with Houston on the front... I'm too old to wear jerseys, but I think I would buy a few if they made them...

    I want the alternate jersey to complete different from our current jerseys kinda like the new Mavs alts. What I would like to see is the font and colors of our Championship yrs. but in the mold of the Lakers and Pistons modernized classic jerseys. I swingman of sort but in homage to our past. I wish I knew how to use photoshop to do a mock up.

    Retro, and it MUST say Houston. Please please please.

    And it'd be cool if it wasn't only retro-designed, but cut differently too. I never liked the garish cutoff shirt look. Something that looks like a basketball jersey would be sweeeeet.

    Black with Red trim with Houston on the front, instead of rockets, like the old Jordan Bulls alts...

    Shiny Silver with Red trim would be my second choice...

    Throwbacks are getting annoying IMO...

    I wouldn't mind seeing those back for a game.

    I want to see black on black or silver on white.

    "HOUSTON" on the front

    It's gonna have Blue in it because last night they gave us a teaser of the Logo with blue lining around it and I saw a jersey with the blue lining around it already...

    They only you can get basketball jersey to say "Houston" on it is to buy a UH jersey.

    UH & the Astros are the only two teams that are proud of this city.

    umm...other than the Rockets who else do you want to have Houston pride.

    I think I'd vomit if i saw the word Houston really big on the Texans unis....thats just not how you do it in football. The Texans seem to be pretty proud of where they come from...hell they name the team after the state.

    I'd like to see the 3rd uni say "Houston" aswell
