Why?

As for the topic, the wife and I donate regulary to the SPCA.

If I had $450 MIL to donate, I would give half to the SPCA and the other half to cancer research.

We gave $200 last year to Doctors Without Boarders (and $100 to them during the tsunami). And small donations to several other charities.

But if I had $450M to give. I'd probably give it to AIDS research.

I would use at least part of it to help make a special needs camp I help at free and accessible to everyone.

I also have this "dream" of starting a respite center of parents of children w/ special needs. We take there kids for a week (and have someone cook etc.. for us) I can't imagine how hard they most work everyday.

Well, there is this girl named Charity that I know....DAAAAAYUM.

Seriously, half would go to animal shelters and the other half would go to educate people who would otherwise be unable to go to school.

$450 Million?

I would put it into cancer research $100 million at the time. In order for the research team to get the next $100 million, they'd have to hit a certain goal, or milestone.

That'd find the cure for cancer easily enough.

I give regularly to the makers of Samual Adams. I mean, like every night. A $450 million donation would probably be a tad much though, as I really don't have the space to store all the bottles and my belly can only stretch so much.

If they'd change the name to LonghornFan Adams I'd think about it.
