Uhh, if you think THAT is the hottest chick on earth, you don't get out enough. It's all about personal preference I suppose.

by the way - Letterman is so not funny. I can't even bear to watch his lame humor.

I didn't realize she was going to be on. Saw the 60 mins. piece on her, and I can't get enough. I might even go see that "Bride and Prejudice" movie since she's in it . . .

Of course "hottest girl in the world" is subjective. But if you dont think she is one of the hottest chicks alive then something is wrong with you.

She is by far the single most popular chick in the WORLD right now. She is an awesome actress. She is a former Miss World. Big time supermodel. Time magazine or some other publication of the same repute just recently voted her "The most beautiful woman alive".

Ok, after googling her she definitely looks better in her various costumes. I'd rank her somewhere between Jessica Alba on the upside and Amy Fisher on the downside.

Agreed...If I'm watching TV during late-night, I usually opt for Seinfeld on one of the 500 channels it is being played on, but Leno is vastly superior to Letterman. I watched tonight, because I heard Aishwarya was on, but I had no idea how un-funny Letterman was.

Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous, though.

I didn't see the show but I just did a search for her on Google. You got me all excited for what I gotta say is overhyped, Rockets03. I mean she's good looking and I'd definitely hit it (gosh, I don't think I can say that anymore and not feel dumb in light of McDonalds's horrible ad campaign), but I could come up with quite a list of other women that are hotter.

For example, Jennifer Walcott, Dalene Kurtis, Divinie Rae, Penelope Jimenez, Carmella DeCesare (all of them have something in common, I'm sure someone on the board knows what)..... Carmen Electra, Brooke Burns, Jennifer Anniston, Jessica Simpson - I could go on and on here....

wow, that is considerable downside...she is very pretty, but i would rather have alba or christina.......i like em skinny...

Well I for one thought she looked much better on Letterman then she does in some of those indian "costumes". Tight skirt, long boots and fitted leather jacket.

Alot of us here in the US equate the term hottie with how much skin they are showing. Indian chicks dont tend to show that much skin. But if she was to do Playboy, I gurantee every single one of you suckas would be agreeing with me.

Did anyone catch DAVE (Letterman) STUTTERING after Rai stuttered? That was hilarious. Crowd didn't laugh, but I caught it and lol'd.

You know, for those of you who don't find DAVE funny, this was a time when he couldn't at all be funny or just probably didn't try to, because she had some of her own jokes and he was probably in awe of her beauty. I'd do her, too.

This was the first time since Letterman interviewed Clinton that I saw him look nervous. I dont think he knew what to ask her or how to approach her. She did well matching him toe for toe though considering this is her FIRST time doing anything like this. she looked a little nervous too.

she was very beautiful but she made some dumb comments. Like: "When people think of India they think of 5 star hotels and palaces". you could tell the crowd wanted to laugh because they dont -- unfortunately, they just know about the poverty that the media here loves to show. she should have realized that this was an american audience, not a generally more travelled european one
