Looks like YOF are more hated than Laker's or even Jazz's fan.

I thought Yao haters were horrible, but the return of the Yaofs have made me remember that they are truly the worst.

Where are they? I haven't been reading as often, but I haven't seen a really stupid post in a while.

Give me an example. What, is someone saying Tmac needs to go?

Ray Allen might have been a better partner for Yao, but geez, who knows with Gundy, whether Ray would still be the stud with the top record.

The Yao problem is the rockets main problem for now and the future. We have to maximize what we have invested in that stock. We need to get more from him.

The excuses for Yao get old, but the debate - how to use him best - is worthwhile.

btw - YOFs don't bother me as long as they don't say things like "Yao wants to play in city_______" (usually their home town) - again, most of these fans want to see Yao play well AND the Rockets win

... and anyone that wants the Rockets to win is OK by me !

This may hurt your feelings, but I don't think there are any true basketball fans in the ROFs group.

ROF watch NBA only because of their home team, YOF watch NBA only because of their countryman. What's the real diference? ROF and YOF both are not bball fans.

YOF is the most OVERRATED/IRRELEVANT sports label I have ever seen. One get labeled a YOF whenever his post even contains the word Yao in it.

I never understood the fascination about YOF. It is irrelevant in the vast majority of the cases. Most people love sports because they love the players, or at least initially. A player would never be successful unless his team is. I am fascinated by Yao because he has a potential to win championships as a dominate big man. If his team doesn't win, Yao doesn't win. Why there are so many who think otherwise is beyond my comprehension.

I think I can tell the difference between a YOF and and Non-YOF who is just defending Yao...I have it in me
