From what I hear, you will not be able to get tickets to the Sunday night game unless you pay to the point that you bleed from various orifices (buy from scalpers).

They usually have a lottery for season ticket holders and if you win, you pay face. When they did this at Madison Sq Garden, you had to pay up front (i think it was like 100 or so per ticket) and take the chance that you might win tickets to the dunk contect/3 pt shootout OR the actual game...you couldnt choose to only enter one part of the lotto.

In addition to this wonderful deal, the tickets the offered were in the highest level of the Garden...I had 4th row center court tickts to the Knicks and they offered me seats in the 400 section....its a joke.

If you dont get them thru the lotto, refer to andymoon's post re: scalpers

As much as I would love to be at the all star game, I have a nice front row seat right in front of my TV. :D

The tickets are easy to get. All you have to do between now and then is become a really good rap artist or hot singer or actress. Good luck.

The NBA and the sponsors eat up most of them...although, inevidably, many of the better seats fall into scalpers hands and you can purchase them for about 10 times face value

Season ticketholders who are faithful fans who pay thousands each year to watch a medicore team get screwed in the process, when it comes to the all star game....
Funny MLB don't do that to fans.

I did a google search and the first site that came up sold tickets up to $4,000 for the 2005 game. I think that's a bit much. $500 for the Rookie game.

http://www.tickco.com/sports_nba_all...me_tickets.htm

The DISCLAIMER on their site:

The Ticket Company buys and resells tickets on the secondary market at above face value. Our prices can be substantially higher than the original ticket price, as they reflect the cost of obtaining premium seating. Any trademarked terms that appear on this page are used for descriptive purposes only.
