preseason game, Oct. 14th, which will be broadcasted on TNT this Thursday... He will stay until Oct. 10, after playing against the Miami Heat. Then, he will bring his Houston Rockets teammates to Beijing and Shanghai to play two games against the Sacramento Kings. Returning to his birthplace, Shanghai, to play NBA games is a happy occasion for Yao. “This can ease my longing for home and give the Chinese fans an opportunity to watch the games live,” he said. In order to watch him play, some enthusiastic fans in China waited 20 hours in line to buy tickets. “I will play my best in order to thank the fans for their support,” Yao said. The Oct. 14 game in Shanghai is very important to Yao. He has not played in the Shanghai stadium since leaving China’s National Team. Yao says his physical condition and competitive state is better than they were last year. The Rockets’ conditioning coach, Anthony Falsone, has been training Yao to help him recover after playing in the Olympic Games in August. Yao will use the time before the NBA season to have a complete physical exam in San Francisco. The exam will focus on his ankles, knees and elbows. is that the floor they are going to play on? I love how its all Rockets Red, and for the border color, and you have the rockets Logo inside the three point line. And you have the NBA Logo near the midcourt line. Then you have the Kings logo, in purple and black. That's pretty damn good. __________________ Ka5m The 5 is silent.
