Houston offered the best offer! I bet it still is the best offer!

Francis is better than Marion or Artest.

Cuttino is an offensive force.

Francis, Cuttino, and Cato were going to be 3/5 of our starting line up before Yao.

But, now the offense changed and Yao is the center piece.

Again, are the Magic crazy? Do they really want Marion or Artest instead of Francis?


I bet nobody on this board would be exited if we were trading Francis for Marion! The same with Artest. Artest and Marion are both a level below Francis.

Francis has carried a team by himself before! Marion and Artest haven't. The year of the Migrane headaches remember the record of the team without Steve, it was something like 2 wins and 20 something loses.


Point is that Francis will win; the Orlando Magic will have 45 to 50 wins next season. Marion and Artest are role players, but may I say exceptional role players. Marion had Marbury and Artest has Oneil. Those were the guys who carried their teams.

Now Marion has Stoudomire to carry his butt.

There is a negative perception about Steve that is unjust. But Francis can lead any team in the East to the 2nd round of the playoffs with his eyes closed. Once he's there the sky is the limit.

 

Sooooo last week, well go tell that to the Orlando Magics GM!!!


Obviously he may still be trying to work out a trade with one of the other teams. Why hasn't he closed the deal on this trade. "He still in serious discussions with other teams" as he's stated.


By the way this site was closed almost all of last week for some of the members.

Either way, the Magic GM and Bird were saying there are better deals out there!

I don't see it. If McGrady was here in Houston demanding a trade I'd be ecstatic getting Francis and Mobley in return.
