ESPN Draft Show-Jim Gray reporting TMAC representatives will sign with "Houston ONLY"!!!!!!

Magic GM Jim Weisbrod looks like a total sleeze bag and a dirty BUT SMART business man.

Maybe smart, but not savvy or experienced. His hand is weaking by the hour as other teams call his bluff and make moves ignoring the Magic.

Breaking news: T-Mac said he only wants to stay in the NBA. There is no European teams can take him away, no matter what the salary is.

At least 5 different sources indicate that TMac will only sign the extension with the Rockets, and I guess that's what has scared away other suitors.

BTW, if TMac has such veto power, can he force Orlando to accept a trade without SF3? Yao+TMac+SF3=sure dynasty.

Also, I am still shocked at TMac basically saying that I will ONLY play with Yao Ming as my big man. Certainly he is not signing with the Rockets for JVG.

But why only Yao? Being a top 5 player himself, why should TMac kiss Yao's axs like that?

Actually, his first choice was Shaq, but that is impossible, so Yao is the 2nd best center right now and soon to be the best, so it's the better choice for the long run.

My queston is if he will only not opt out with houston, why do we have to give em francis, mobley and cato and take on a contract like howards? The gun is pointed at orlando heads not the rockets.

Indeed it is. This reminds me of a rule that I follow religiously in my business dealings. I call it the Golden Rule. It is defined as follows:

Weisbrod IS a Sleazebag

You can tell with how he fields these offers what a dishonorable businessperson he is. I hate to say it, but Orlando's own debacles when it comes to personnel decisions starts with the top. And the folks they hire (e.g. Weisbrod) is indicative of the kind of blue-blood attitude and academic pedigree arrogance that so reeks of bad business. This is yet another reason why I think it's absolutely ridiculous for us to be even dealing with Orlando. IMHO, they would be getting the better end of the deal in Francis, Mobes, and Cato. We should be looking younger, but not at the expense of jeopardizing our cap situation and chemistry.

Francis is "gettin' it." His loyalty is there. REWARD HIM AND REWARD HOUSTON by keeping him here.

Orlando can go back to the Mickey Mouse pipe dreams of yesteryear.
