Utah Jazz, coming from back-2-back games at Denver, is pounding the Lakers, 35-29 with 4:56 to playin 2nd quarter. If the Lakers are so dominant, shouldn't they be the ones pounding Utah Jazz who are without any talents?

The Lakers seems bored in this game (I guess), they only gives out their 100% efforts when facing Kings, Wolves, Mavs and Rockets(?).

I really hope Lakers win this game. This could strengthen the Rockets playoff hope. Go Lakers!

Umm, 35-29 in the second quarter doesn't sound like a pounding. What the Grizz did to us or the Spurs to the Suns, now that's pounding.

Do anyone watch the Warriors Game? Dampier already got 21 boards with near 3 minutes left in 3rd quarter. Will he break the season high 26 boards set by Shaq?

since the "pounding" began, the Jazz have only scored three points and trail 43-38 at the half.

ease up a little, its a 48 minute game

ak with a whopping 4 and 4

This thread blows. I missed the game, check out the BBS, see this title thinking the Jazz "pounded" the Lakers, only to find that they were up by 6 little points in the 2nd quarter when this thread was started.

Hehe, I was trying to poke fun at the Lakers pound Queens/T-pups threads... Too bad Jazz trailing to Lakers there would be no story, except for our magic number reduction.

Pounding, we talking about pounding, I mean, how stupid is that, pounding, not the game, but pounding.

Wow, Jazz was down by 14 point after 3 quarters and outscored Lakers 20-6 to tie it at 75 each with 5:16 left to play. Does Lakers collapse sounds just like Rockets'? Must be double OT tonight.

Thats the difference between the Lakers and most teams in the NBA. Lakers are the people who other teams collapse against, not too often does it happen to them.

we definitely do NOT want to meet this team in the first round, not the way they are playing right now.

I don't understand the philosophy of rooting against the 8th seed so we can clinch faster.

folks, the 8th seed is not the issue, its who we match up against in the 1st round, and if the playoffs started today, it would be LAL. lets hope they take their division.

minnesaota and Sacto playing mediocre right now, both 5-5 in last ten.

its time to look forward, not backwards. this was a game we wanted the jazz to win.

Lakers can't move into the 2nd seed, they have to win their division, lakers will be either number 1 seed or 3. Remember division winners get the number 1 and 2 seed, luckily for the Rox since the number 2 is Minny.

Right. It'll most likely be either the 1st or 3rd seed for LA, which would keep them away from Houston. As the 3rd seed, they could still get HCA over the Midwest winner in the Semis if they have a better record or own a tiebreaker. If the playoffs started today, they'd have HCA over Minny in the Semis.
