Please vote in the poll only if you've seen the film...then feel free to expand.

By Christian I mean as you identify your own beliefs.

The choices are as they are as obviously "Christians" will go in the theater with different expectations.

I stated this in a couple of other threads, but I have no problem doing it again...

It was an great, POWERFUl, sad and beatiful movie...Some of the torture was hard to take, but to me, it emphasized the hidious torture he was put through for the sake of us...

I, like all other Christians have read about this, but this movie makes you feel like you are there...

I didn't think it was anti-semetic, however, I'd be lying if I wouldn't admit I was very PO'd and angry at the individuals who tortured him so...

I also posted my opinion of the film in another thread.

I am a Christian and gave this movie an A. What Jesus went through in his crucifixion is something that is rarely focused on. I did not leave the movie PO'd with anybody. Personally, I was painfully reminded that Jesus went through this because He loves me far more than I love Him.

Well first of all, my popcorn was stale... just kidding. Do you think this was the first movie shown at a theater where no one ate popcorn ?

I give it a B. I've said before that passion plays focus on the physical suffering, but I think the movie went a little overboard with that. I don't need to see that much gore to know that Jesus Christ suffered. The gore took away from the movie's message for me, even though I don't need Mel Gibson to tell me Christ died for all humanity.

I also don't like the fact that people are making money off of this buy selling "The Passion" merchandise.

One more thing, if they wanted to be historically acurate they would not have made Jesus Christ a 6 ft white man.

Not anti-semitic in my opinion though, but I'm not Jewish...

I think its interesting how this poll is turning out. All in All I did not expect that many people identifying themselves as "non" or "not-so-much" Christian to give it an "A"
