The first game of the season might be the most important of them all MINNESSOTA if we win we will have a good season if we lose itll be a long season just look at last year When we got beat by Milwaukee that put the definition of the Season in my point of view.

As for the original topic, the Lakers play the Blazers on opening night this year. Should we write off the loser and cast them out of the championship picture?.

If we don't win the first game, are we just
going to shut down Compaq Center? Will we cancel the chartered planes for the 41 road games? What will Bill and Calvin for the rest of the season? Get the word out, don't buy season tickets, we may lose the first game. j ------------------ |

how successful the season will be should be determined on the day of the referendum. If the arena deal passes... no matter what happens this season, we'll get over it.. we're rebuilding remember? But if, like this year on opening day, if the referendum fails... it's going to be a really long year...
