Spurs over Suns 4 games to 1

Sorry Phoenix, you may be better than us, but nobody is better than the Spurs

Kings over Jazz 4 games to 0

My hatred for Utah can't let me pick them to win any games. We can finally, without a doubt, 100% say that the Stockton and Malone era is OVER!

Portland over Dallas 4 games to 3

My upset special of the week. Finley is still hurting, which will force Dirk to have to carry too much of the load.

Lakers over T-Wolves 4 games to 2.

Basically, this come down to who has the better second option. Kobe should be able to neutralized Wally. It's Bob Horry time...

And, once again, whoever comes out of the East is just a sacrificial lamb....

I don't care about anything except that Minnesota wins their first playoff series.

For those of you picking the Spurs over the Suns, does the fact that Phoenix took the season series 3-1 mean anything? The one loss the Suns had against the Spurs went to OT, in San Antonio, with both Penny Hardaway and Jake Tsakalidis out with injuries.

Now I understand that San Antonio has a very, very good team - but the Suns give them absolute fits.

I wouldnt be suprised to see the Spurs go down.

I don't suppose you remember back in 1994/1995 when San Antonio went 5-1 against the Rockets....lotta good it did them when we kicked the crap out of them in the WC finals that year.

The playoffs and the regular season are two completely different animals...

I agree A-Train. However, I can come up with 100 examples where the winners of regular season matchups did go on to take the playoff matchup.

and? How many of those winners were higher seeds and were favored? Better yet, how many of those were 1-8 matchups?

San Antonio is 21-5 in March and April. They're getting hot just at the right time. They are simply too good to lose against Phoenix. Do you really think Tony Parker is doing to shoot 29% against Phoenix in the playoffs like he did in the regular season? Not likely

write....it....down....Spurs in a romp...

Yeah, it would look stupid to be wearing a 3-peat robe after a 4-peat.

True, very true. It's an uphill battle for the Suns, thats for sure. I'm just saying that the Suns have a very good chance at pulling the upset.
