I'm convinced. Steve Francis is a superior athlete but will never be a superior leader until he changes his attitude. Don't get me wrong, i love the guy a lot but after i heard that he kicked the ball in the Utah game it just showed even several years after he pouted his way to Houston that he still is imature. He just kicked the Rockets back into the lottery. I understand his frustration and how bad he wants to go to the playoffs but in a time when the team needs him the most he didn't keep his composure. It's hard to follow a leader who doesn't show poise and who seemingly lost control. I say move him to shooting guard. As for Mobes, I say trade him or force him to 6th man. He could be the Reggie Lewis of this generation if he's willing to humble himself. I read an article about him stating "You practically need the jaws of life to get the ball out of his hands". We need his energy as the 6th man....So during the off season get a heady point guard who doesn't necessarily have to be the "franchise player" but a general on the floor who could take charge on the floor and pass, ie. KIDD, FORD, JWILL (bulls),MILLER..Kenny Smith wasn't the franchise but he was a good leader. Trade Mooch the dribbler. Let Griffin grow (see Jermaine O' Neil). Let Yao bulk up. Draft the best player on the board and keep the rest of the team for the sake of some form of team chemistry and then they could get fitted for rings.

Actually, Steve has been doing well until these last couple of games. Maybe his headaches are flaring up? Maybe Larry Smith is a piece o' crap coach? Maybe....

    *sigh*

Steve needs to be moved to the AI-type 2 guard (a comment that is also SO yesterday) and Cat moved for a big combo guard. And Smith needs to coach a high school team.

Francis doesnt play defence! He would scream about that the pass first point guard doesnt get him enough shots, he would be a very frustrated player all the time. Trade him!
