18, Graduating, never had a job. Anyone here know any places I could apply to get a job? I figure it's time I should stat working, heh, I've been lazy the last 2-3 years.
Try getting a job as a waiter. Lie about your prior experience if you have to. As a waiter, you'll get plenty of 'tang from the other hotties that work there. When I was 18, I waited tables at Outback in First Colony, and ended up fooling around with one of the waitresses occasionally. Of course, since I was 18 and she was 21, she never wanted anything more. Anyways, point is, working at a restaurant is the perfect way to meet cute chicks that like to party after work. Choose a good "off the freeway" place like Macaroni Grill, Pappasitos, Outback, etc. and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Find a K-mart thats closing, they'll hire you right away and give you a few months of easy work. And the girls are so easy, they are all pregnant within weeks.
Can you be a waiter if you're 17? Cuz I plan to get a summer job as well....and I also noticed the hotties at the "off the freeway" restaurants.
I think everybody should be required to work at a restaraunt so they can see how much it sucks. That way when YOU go out to dinner you can tip properly. However, coming from a perspective of someone that works with college kids all day, think about your career goals. Have you considered an internship? You can check with career services or the undergraduate department of your intended major to see what suggestions they might have.
I think there is a demand for toll-booth collectors. $8.50 an hour if you don't mind the monotony. Because it is probably not too demanding of a job, I bet you could get drunk beforehand to make the time go by faster.
If you can swim, I'd recommend lifeguard at a public pool. The pay is good, and all you really need is your CPR certification. Chick lifeguards are ALWAYS hotties. Just make sure you have some good, strong sunblock, and lots of it...
You don't want to be a waiter or a toll booth lackey. Come have fun in the woods and challenge yourself as a Wildland Firefighter (or some other job on your public lands)... http://www.fs.fed.us/people/employ/asap/index_nw_centralized_temporary_hiring.htm http://www.sep.nps.gov/ http://www.blm.gov/careers/fire.htm http://jobs.fws.gov/
Well that depends on how adventurous you are. If you have a real wild hair and love the outdoors, plus you want to get away from mom and pops for awhile. Go work in Jackson Hole Wyo. as a housekeeper or front desk person. Then get a night job at the subway. You work like 6 hours a day at the hotel. they put you up in a house or trailer for super cheap, like 200 a month rent, which is very cheap in Jackson hole. If you work at the subway free dinner every night. Plus Jackson hole pays well, it’s a tourist town, you will get like 8-10 bucks an hour depending on the hotel, and tips. Or you could be a waiter there and make more. Hotel jobs are the easiest to get though. If you are not up for that, go look at walmart, or even a hospital for a matinence job, they pay pretty well and all you really do is paint stuff. Oh Oh a job painting can be good too.
Go make yourself a sign and hangout at a busy intersection. Make sure that you look unkept and poorly fed, and watch the money come rolling in!
