I thought the chinese government made sure that Yao ming plays in houston. Afterall, there all these strings attached to Ming such as the Chinese team practicing with the rockets and what not. If the rockets wanted to trade Ming, they can't unless they get consent of the Chinese government...right?

Hahah.. i don't think we will know the EXACT details until he signs the contract. China shouldn't worry too much though. Just as long as we don't send him to Utah, there will be chinese people rooting for him.

Who knows, I mean Yao hasn't even signed his contract yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I believe that once he signs his contract he can not be traded for 90 days, but I'm no CBA expert.

We could trade his rights to another team, but he's ours for awhile after he signs.

Has 9/11 effected your minds or something? It takes a realy weid mind to be concerned about such things!! I would be more conserned that he is back in China and has not yet signed with the Rox.

I thought China and the Rockets had something worked out to where the Rockets wouldn't trade Yao.
