Are you ready for some Football!!!!!!!!!

The Prediction Thread is back too, Remember Week 1 is the toughest.

September 5

San Francisco vs
NY Giants 8:30

The Giants won't have the offense or defense to contend with San Fran, Garcia throws for 4 TDs.

49ers 38 - Giants 14

September 8

Arizona vs
Washington 1:00

Da Spurrias get a taste of David Boston, Da Cards get a taste of The Fun N gun

Skins 63 - AZ 38

Atlanta vs
Green Bay 1:00

Vick and Dunn ignite the Falcons, Terry Glenn comes alive. Ahman Green is the Difference.

Green Bay 21 - ATL 17

Baltimore vs
Carolina 1:00

Ravens Look bad with Redman, Jamal Lewis is the only Offense. Ravens D shuts down a very shut-downable offense.

Balti-nevermore - 13, Carolina 3

Detroit vs
Miami

Dolphins 23 - Lions 14

Indianapolis vs
Jacksonville 1:00

Jacksonville's 6-1 opening record doesn't lie ...or maybe it does

New Orleans vs
Tampa Bay 4:15

This one won't be close, Brooks looks like his end of 2001 self

Tampa Bay 45, New Orleans 20

Seattle vs
Oakland 4:15

I have my Jerry Rice Jersey on right now, and it ain't coming off until Sunday. Dilfer hasn't lost a game in forever, DIlfer isn't playing. Seattle has the worst opening game record of any team.

Oakland 31 - Seattle 10

September 5

San Francisco vs
NY Giants 8:30

SF is over-rated. Giants "D" buries the 49er's

49ers 10 - Giants 31

September 8

Arizona vs
Washington 1:00

Ugly game of the week.

Skins 7 - AZ 6

Atlanta vs
Green Bay 1:00

Green Bay at home. Nuff said.

Green Bay 24 - ATL 17

Baltimore vs
Carolina 1:00

Ravens "D", but no "O".

Balti-nevermore - 13, Carolina 3

Detroit vs
Miami

Just cuz I can't stand the Dolphins.

Dolphins 14 - Lions 24

Indianapolis vs
Jacksonville 1:00

Indy will be ready for this one.

Colts 42 - Jags 21

Kansas City vs
Cleveland 1:00

Brownies 20 - Chiefs 10

Minnesota vs
Chicago 1:00

Da Bears!

Bears 23 - Vikings 20

NY Jets vs
Buffalo 1:00

Bills play well during the season then flub in the post season.

Bills 31 - Jets 24

Philadelphia vs
Tennessee 1:00

Eagles fly!!

Eagles 45 - Titans 14

San Diego vs
Cincinnati 1:00

Chargers still suck even without Ryan Leaf.

Bengles 14 - Chargers 3

New Orleans vs

The Saints will be in last place this season.

Tampa Bay 37, New Orleans 7

Seattle vs
Oakland 4:15

Dallas vs
Houston 8:30

I absolutely hate the Cowboys.

Dallas 13, Texans 17

San Francisco vs
NY Giants 8:30

Giants still can't score. Too much offense for the Niners.

SF 23, Giants 13

September 8

Arizona vs
Washington 1:00

Fun and Gun works, but the defense is the true surprise.

Redskins 27, Cards 6

Atlanta vs
Green Bay 1:00

It'll take a while for Glenn to gel with Favre, but the Packers have too much talent to lose this.

Packers 20, Falcons 12

Baltimore vs
Carolina 1:00

These teams suck, but the Ravens can at least run the football.

Ravens 17, Panthers 3

Detroit vs
Miami

Miami's offensive line isn't enough to win a Super Bowl, but enough to get them by the Lions.

Dolphins 27, Lions 13

Indianapolis vs
Jacksonville 1:00

Though Tony Dungy will help, the home crowd and a healthy Fred Taylor makes Jacksonville a good sleeper to win this.

Jaguars 24, Colts 21

Kansas City vs
Cleveland 1:00

Cleveland's still iffy at running back unless Green makes a huge push, and Couch is gimpy. The Chiefs have good talent at the skill positions this year, and could be a sleeper team.

Chiefs 23, Browns 17

Minnesota vs
Chicago 1:00

The Vikings offense is back, and the Bears prove that 01 was a fluke.

Vikings 31, Bears 16

NY Jets vs
Buffalo 1:00

Drew makes an early statement with a two minute drive to win it.

Bills 17, Jets 14

Philadelphia vs
Tennessee 1:00

The Eagles are never a great regular season team, and the Titans look poised to rebound from a disappointing 01.

Titans 20, Eagles 17

San Diego vs
Cincinnati 1:00

Same old Bengals. Drew Brees can play.

Chargers 13, Bengals 10

New Orleans vs
Tampa Bay 4:15

New Orleans is the most underrated team in the league. Prior to the meltdown in the last four games, this was a very quality team with an improving QB. Deuce will be better than Ricky in this offense with his ability to catch the ball. Saints make a statement early.

Saints 28, Bucs 20

Seattle vs
Oakland 4:15

Gruden's departure is overrated. It's going to be tough to win in Oakland, as always.

Raiders 38, Seahawks 17

St. Louis vs
Denver 4:15

Game of the week. The Rams offense is great, but so is Denver's with the additions of Portis and Lelie. It's a shootout, but I'm going with the home team.

Broncos 34, Rams 31

Dallas vs
Houston 8:30

Dallas is overrated. The Texans, going by predictions here, are underrated.

Texans 24, Cowboys 16

September 9

Pittsburgh vs
New England 9:00

The Patriots aren't a fluke, but the Steelers are the best team in football.

Steelers 20, Patriots 14

sorry Sonny, I'm just not sold on the Jim Miller/Chris Chandler QB combo... its easy to catch lightning in a bottle for one season, but to have it last for a second? Hmm... add that Dez White is a starting WR (I think) and I smell trouble...

of course Urlacher, Colvin, and Holdman could prove all that inconsequential... i think Minn will bust out in the first 3 games of the season, than come back down to earth...

What's wrong with Dez White? You add him to Marcus Robinson and Marty Booker and the passing game will be clicking. Miller was off last year because he didn't have MROB to hit with the deep pass. Luckily A-Train saved the day.

Lightning in a bottle huh? I guess New England was a fluke also? We will see...

whatever happened to David Terrell? I'm just wondering why White is starting over him. I'm not a Bears fan, but you seem to be (or at least you follow them), so I thought I'd ask you.

as for New England, with the team playing in the toughest division in the NFL, I don't see too much success in their future.

I can't believe some of you think the Seahawks will beat the Raiders in Oakland no less, I will bet that game as a LOCK. I guarantee the Raiders will beat Seattle, They have too much talent to lose, Adams and Parrela could do what Traylor and Washington did for the Bears.

Whats with that Sonny, I pick your Bears to win and you show me no love, Well This thread will be a sure favorite during this season I'm looking forward to proving all your asses wrong again. If the Raiders lose and the Bears win I will personally Write a 100 word essay on the greatness of the Bears. If the Bears Lose, I will simply laugh at you.

I am not 100% sure who they will be starting out of the 4. I think Dez has had a better training camp though. The top 2 will be Booker and Robinson. I think Terrell will get the nod over Dez White for now. But they should all get a lot of touches(I hope).

You did kinda stun me with your pick of the Bears to win. I just wasn't sure you meant it. I am gonna edit my picks, the Raiders can't lose, right?
