Game 6 of Lakers/Kings was simply a travesty. There have been other poorly called games before, but not to the point where even the impartial NBC announcers condemn the officiating as favoring the Lakers about six times in one game. Kobe's elbow to Bibby's face at the end was only the icing on the cake. The calls were horrible throughout the game. I mean, Bavetta even forced the Kings to use their last timeout because Bibby ran over to the sideline to wipe the blood off his nose. Shaq had a great game? Fine. But Bavetta is still the Lakers' MVP.

the weirdest thing though for me is, I wasn't even affected by the way these guys called the game. I enjoyed the game throughout the hills and valleys of the game.

just think, a 4 point lose when it was 8 against 5.

You gotta hand it to the Kings, They did what any outmatched team would do. Play their hearts out.

Credit is given to the Kings Organization but I can't post what type of credit #27, 16, and 26 deserve.

No offense or anything, but I don't think they're overmatched. They weren't leading the series for no reason. If the officiating was even halfway decent, the Kings would be heading to the Finals right now.

    Overmatched(in a sarcastic way) as in 8 players(5 lakers, 3 refs) against 5.

I can barely play 3 against 4, norless 8 on 5. thats hard stuff

Save your energy. The Kings, when the officiating is remotely fair, have been a much better team than the Lakers. NBC's got their game 7... they should let the players play now. And, with the game in Sacramento and the officiating unbiased, the Kings will win. And the better thing is that now, the Kings have every bit of motivation to not just beat the Lakers, but utterly destroy them. I can't wait.

    GO KINGS!

remotely fair being when the kings are blatantly favored? i mean come on. there have been two well officiated games, games three and four. game two was a screw job by the refs to give the kings the game (or didn't you notice the 21 ft advantage they had going into the fourth, the only thing keeping them in the game even though they were outplayed statistically in every other category), or shaq only getting 1 ft in game five when he was dominating like hell. BOTH teams have gotten screwed by the refs in this series. don't try to make out like it is only one.

Don't waste your breath mhan. Some of these guys are preparing to eat the least crow when the Lakers advance to the Finals. :p

You should read the earlier threads they made after game 5 when they thought the series was all but won by the Kings.

And if the Lakers do indeed win, you'll get the impression that those same guys played under George Karl or something. All whine and no game.
