How do you like this description of a player they say is like Kenny? Are there any comparison to Maurice found an NBAdraft. Probably not, because they will all be comparisons to softies like Scoreless. They apparently reserve the Kenny comparisons to strong, fundamentallly sound, versatile scoring PFs who can see the court. :D

    that's right babe.

    "Luis Scola
    Birthdate: 4/30/80
    NBA Position: Power Forward
    Ht: 6-10
    Wt: 230

    NBA comparison: Kenny Thomas

Strengths: Has great hands, and NBA upper body strength. Will not have the problems that other Euro players like Kirilenko and Gasol have been facing. Also, a good athlete with leaping ability and runs the floor pretty well for a big man. Used to playing high-level basketball at the age of 22. Played in the Euroleague Finals last year which was the highest level of club competition in Europe. Also, almost doubling his averages every year (last year: 8.8 ppg, this year: 16.4 PPG). Besides that, used to play in a big rotation which shows that he is not likely to have "staying on the court for longer minutes" syndromes. Has good ball handling skills for a big man. Can go coast to coast and finish it off with a dunk. Can spot a fellow big man from a variety of positions. Also, a good pick'n roll player. Can score by popping up from up to 15 ft, rolling down with control, find an open teammate both on the perimeter as well as down low. Very good at passing to big men, especially from high post to low post which will be beneficiary for zone offenses. Has the experience, the vision and the guts to select the correct pass. Knows how to score around the basket whether it be a fade away, a finger roll or a bank shot. Uses his body well not to get blocked. Also, contains a nice touch with a right hand jump hook.

Weaknesses: Not versatile. Can only play one position, namely power forward and may be a little soft for the position. Probably will have difficulty in defending big PF's. Not possible for him to "steal" some minutes from either C nor SF as he is literally too small for one and too slow for the latter. Needs to improve rebounding skills. Good at crushing the boards when running from the wing but not nearly as effective from a stable position. Must improve upon his 65% free throw shooting.

Well I'll be. There is a Maurice Taylor Comparison

    "Carlos Boozer
    NBA Position: Power Forward
    College: Duke
    Class: Junior
    Ht: 6-9
    Wt: 280

    NBA Comparison: Maurice Taylor

Strengths: Has great strength and good agility for a big man. Has good leaping ability. <b>An NBA body provided he stays in shape.</b> Very good offensive player down on the blocks. Has soft hands and very good touch. With the top two points in the college game feeding him the rock, any weaknesses on his offensive game are well disguised.

Weaknesses: Lacks quickness. Gets to the rim and has decent leaping ability, but not very explosive. Questions about his motor have haunted him, especially when he gained so much weight in the offseason. , but he came up big in Duke's run to the 2001 National Championship. Very solid when he gets the ball down low. Doesn't try anything too fancy, just a power drop step, or backs his man under the basket and takes it up strong. Needs to get a little better at creating shots for himself. Consistency needs to be better. Can have lapses defensively. Doesn't have a great outside game but can become a better shooter. Not a great rebounder.

Upperbody looks chiseled out of granite. Prototype PF size and skills. Has a great combination of strength and athleticism. Very good hands. After beginning his freshman season on the mend, began to show his vast potential as the season progressed. Doesn't have great quickness but is a good leaper. <b>Still has a ways to go to disprove the motovation critics. </b>"

    :D

They got Kenny's man picked ahead of Maurice's man. See, I told you!

Why not? We all seemed to be happy with him in 2001. Yes, he smoked weed and has gained weight. These things can be fixed.

Get a life, Mo taylor is a good ball player. If you just need to complain about something, complain on someone who's sorry at least.
