Well, they took at least one game from the Expos. But now they need to nail down their first real winning streak of the season. And I hate the Mets, so who better to start it against?

The Mets are the biggest wannabe team in baseball. The Yankees suck... but at least they're the real deal. They bring in Jason Giambi to be their first baseman. The Mets? Try Mo Vaughn. And every frickin' year is the year they're finally going to overtake Atlanta.

So, put on your rally caps, authentic Billy Doran replica Jersey, or whatever... and let's will the Rockets to kick some mets ass!

doran is my fave astro of all time...my fave baseball player of all time (synonomous for an astronut, i suppose)....

I'm sick and tired of losing the first 2 games in the series, only to salvage the 3rd game to avoid a sweep.

luckily, the stats indicate that the Astros will play 162 games this year and win some percentage of them.

or something.

also, his MLE indicates that Bill Doran will not be of help to us tonight. I expect one-M to anticipate this and not start him.

Well, thanks to the pitching tonight, the Stros pulled out a W.

Hernandez looks like he could be as good as Oswalt. Maybe not now, but in the future. He's what, 21 years old or something?

We need to get our offense going. D-Ward is having a decent year, but I would gladly sacrifice his high batting average, for more power. He only has 2 jacks so far.

carlos appears to be a stud, he has that same no fear attitude that roy has. a 22-year old with that kind of composure is unreal. take away his bullpen work and his era is like 1.75 i think. if redding can start pitching inside effectively like oswalt and hernandez than he could be up there with them.
