Lets take all of the newbie posters on clutchcity.net and trade them to jazzhoops.com for their server space.

When do those glorious ping pong balls start bouncing again?!?!?

I cant take any more of the lets trade Cato, Mooch, and Collier for Shaq, Allen Iverson, Tim Duncan, Jesus, George Bush Jr., and a box of Frosted Flakes!

Why don't we toss in the posters, other than rockHEAD, who keep starting threads on seeing a Rockets player.

Those are the most stupid threads ever. Did people think Rockets players live under a rock, when they're not on the court?

Yeah I dont know why posters have come out of the woodworks lately to say they saw KT, Mooch, Cuttino, whatever. Its seems a little odd that all this would happen all of the sudden.

Im guilty of this I must admit, but thank God I had a camera and I actually talked to the guys for a while, probably being that annoying drunk white dude that wouldnt shut up. :D

Yours was ok, because it wasn't during a flood of them. Yours was pretty isolated...

The last week or so, everyone is saying I saw Joe Blow at a restaurant. I was so suprised the Joe Blow needs food to live!!!

I was amazed that Kenny Thomas has to buy clothes for his daughter. I always though NBA players never had to go out and buy clothes.

I don't mind those "I saw whoever" threads, so long as some interaction is involved...it's interesting if nothing else.

It's not like they're saying "I saw kidrock8 in the arcade playing Street Fighter!!!" because of course nobody would give a damn about that. But some people do give a damn about celebrities, especially the ones that make up what this board is all about. I think it's relevant.

I think what Kidrock8 is trying to say is (and correct me if I am wrong): If you do meet a Houston Rocket player, have the balls to go up and talk and/or take a picture, otherwise its not that big of a deal.

Its kind of like saying: "I saw Kobe and Shaq at a Lakers game!!!" If there is no interaction/autograph/pic/whatever with them, then its not that big of a deal.

I'm with Prempeh...

Interesting to hear what players have to say to us, the fans, instead of just the media...

But down with all the STUPID trade proposals PLEASE!!!

I need substance!!

I don't think the Rockets should do that trade unless they get Cap'n Crunch instead of the Frosted Flakes. And the Rockets keep Collier. That's too much to give up for those chumps.

What Drew said...

It's one thing to just see Joe Rocket somewhere. Its another to hang out with Joe Rocket for more than just a "hello".

Is it really informative, if someone says they saw Cato, and he said "hi?"

I get the feeling it will be a loooong offseason...

Lord, there hasn't been that many of them.

1.) Drewdog saw some players at a hotel
2.) Mobley called some guy
3.) Someone saw Moochie at a grocery store (buying condoms? was that a joke?)
4.) Kenny Thomas was seen at Gap Kids, which I think it was you who responded, "I knew he was undersized, but Gap Kids?" I remember because I thought it was pretty funny.
5.) And I vaguely remember somebody saying he saw Eddie at a footlocker.

Maybe I'm missing a couple, but that's hardly enough to get all in a tissy fit over. I like hearing about those because they usually lead to something pretty funny like your comment about Kenny, Moochie buying condoms, Mobley and Francis hitting on people's wives, and Kevin Willis who may or may not have thought Drewdog was hitting on him in the bathroom. :D

As long as it doesn't get out of control with people just making up stuff, I say keep it up!!!
