We have lost 3 out of 4 to the Clippers the last two seasons. Not that this is anything to be ashamed of, necessarily. This Clippers team is very good now, and the Rockets played them hard despite having a VERY thin frontcourt for most of the game. But we seem to match up with LAC very poorly, it seems to me. When Darius Miles was guarding Steve, he had a very hard time penetrating, which was kind of disturbing to watch. So do you all think these last couple of seasons are abberations, or are the Clippers the next Sonics? The next team that the Rockets can't seem to beat. Personally, I think not being able to beat the Clippers is a hell of a lot better than the Jazz or the Sonics or some other team that I hate with a vengeance.

Yes!

I'm really getting sick and tired of the Rockets coming into town, stinkin up the joint and making me look like a fool at the games with my jersey on. At least I have some pride with it being a Francis jersey!!

Most of you guys there in Houston know NO shame until the Clippers fans, THE CLIPPERS!!, rag you in the streets of LA after the game....MAN I hate that s@*t!!

The Rocks just don't match up very well with the Clips, which isn't anything to be ashamed of. They're just so long and athletic.

The Rocks are definitely going to need a low-post scorer and presence when the Clips are next on the schedule, playing good ol' "Power Ball" is how you attack the Clips.

Brand has made them a more intelligent basketball team, and the Rockets are still at the Billy Bob school of defense and smarts.

The lack of an inside scorer kills us. and with KT and EG out that didn't help either. I know this has been beat into a drum but going small against them doesn't make any sense. especially when they have Miles who is 6-9 guarding Stevie or Cat.

I see you have joined the "let's tank this season cause" as well.

DD,

I watched last nite's debacle and what concerns me is that I have seen basically no improvement in the areas of 1) commitment to defense and 2)basketball IQ//smarts. Either we are not coached or the players are uncoachable.

It's maddening to watch. Somehow we've got this sense of pseudo-superiority regarding the Clips, and it shows every time we play them. We get outhustled and outeverythinged. And they were also missing a whole fleet of key players too.

Help! Only a handful of games to go and this nightmare of a season will come to a merciful end.

The Clippers just match up really well against us. They're athletic and can run and can create mismatches with their forwards just like we can create mismatches with our guards. Once Mo T and G-Money get back and we get our lottery pick, we'll go back to owning them like we used to.

It's alright ladies and gentlemen...like Dallas Rocket said, only a handful of games left before this disastrous season ends!! Hell, what if Davy Stern rigs the lotto for the Rockets like he did last year for the Wiz! The NBA knows we have great young talent and have just been injury-infested. Then after the Lakers win the title, and draft workouts end, we acquire Quyntel Woods, Eddie lifts, Cato develops a consistant tough inside game, and Stevie and Rice and Mo get over their injuries! We'll be underrated when the season starts, where is right where we want to be! Then we surprise the hell out of the whole league...and, well...read my sig!

I'm excited!
