Maybe you could've squeezed one more shot in man. Better yet, try inbounding to yourself or something, your not getting enough touches.

Kobe shouldn't have been the MVP. He was a ball hog. 25 SHOTS IN AN ALL STAR GAME?!?!?!? THAT'S CRAZY!!!

I want to say a big thank you to the fans in Philly... Kobe made this game a complete joke while he played. He never passed it to anyone else, and it was obvious his primary concern was to win MVP for himself. The All-Star game is supposed to be for fun, but Kobe decided to ruin that.

Kobe just doesn't have any charisma. Fans hate him all over the country.

Today actually made me not hate Bryant as much. He was genuinely upset that his home-crowd booed him, and he showed a ton of class in the post-game interview. On the lack of passing, I didn't really see it. A lot of his points seemed to come on finishes.

I agree here, Freak. While the stat sheet looks like Kobe hogged the ball, in watching the game, I didn't really feel like he took too many more shots than he should have. And the class he showed at the end by not getting angry that the fans were booing him has really raised my respect for him greatly. I don't really know why he expected anything other than a good booing, but what he received, he handled quite well.

Why do the Philly fans show so much dislike for Bryant? Did he say something bad about the city or something?

of course hes going to say all the classy things in that situation. that doesnt mean hes not the biggest egomaniac in the nba. he shouldnt have taken all those shots. he should have been booed.

he would have been more 'classy' if he had realized that the nba all star game is not all about him and fans came to see other players.

hes not hurt by the fans booing him, thats the price he pays for hogging the ball and winning the mvp. screw that guy.

Kobe was the star of stars tonight, and he deserved the MVP. Simple as that.

I don't get it.

Kobe is hated for some of the lamest reasons around.

The NBA has ruined All-Star weekend, not Kobe. The All-Star game itself has lost a lot of its luster before Kobe shot 25 shots today.

If you are willing to blame Kobe for a bad all-star game, then be willing to give him credit when he wins 5 more rings.

Francis could have had at least 8 points if Kobe had passed him the ball on the break(When Stevie had the better shot).

Shaq isn't going to play 5 more years, thus Kobe will never see 5 more rings.

The All-Star game is nearly as good as it's ever been; it's the remainder of the events surrounding it that have taken a dive. Last year's great comeback by the East shows that the all-star game is still alive and kicking; Kobe's performance tonight exposed the flaws in his game and ego.

You're all just haters. Didn't you see the plus/minus stats that NBC was showing? The West was a helluva lot better with Kobe on the floor than when he was on the bench, and that was because he was the only one who was playing like he gave a damn about the game.

If everyone played as hard as Kobe did, this All-Star Game would have been alot more entertaining.

Coincidentally, the East played a lot better with McGrady on the floor than when he was off of the floor. When he and Kobe were in the game, it was nearly even with a slight East advantage.

Without Kobe, the west still likely wins, even with McGrady playing the way he did. But without McGrady, the East is blown out by 50. Not only that, but he's the fans' MVP.

Haters respect the game and the players, unless given a reason to hate. Kobe gave everyone - except those who apparently think he's the greatest thing since sliced cheese - a reason to put down his performance tonight.

People seem to automatically equate Kobe and his phenomenal skills and athleticism with a cocky a-hole.

He might be confident, but when has he ever said he was the greatest?

People are so quick to judge Kobe because he plays in LA, and is a flashy player.

Wow! Good point...I mean, if pass-happy guys like Iverson, Rice and especially Jordan have come close or equaled Kobe's number of shots, obviously he's being called a selfish ball-hog for no reason....
