I think we should take point guard in draft, because rudy insists
on playing three guard lineups why not improve the backup point
position with a trade or jayson williams from duke better defense
better scoring , passing I think we lose so many games because the 3 guard lineup cant play any defense more specifically moochie norris since all the big men in the draft are not that much better than what we have I think

You guys already have a player like Jason Williams on your team. His name is Francis. You would be better served drafting Dunleave.

If JW is available, he would be gone in a heartbeat. Ming may be the only thing to make someone think about it.

I could see the rockets going after Duhon in the mid to late lottery.

Rudy has shown an affinity to having ballhandlers the past two or three years so its more likely the rocks go for a big PG than use Torres in a three guard. I don't know if there is a SF out in the draft that could create a lineup that could outperform a three guard lineup with either Duhon or JW.

I'd prefer getting a SF with good guard skills, but its most likely the rocks will have to choose between an ideal sized SF with forward skills or a guard with guard skills.

PF is set.

C is in flux, but hard to find.

Expect a best available pick.

My first choice would be Jared Jeffries 6-9 220 SF Indiana, second choice is Tayshaun Prince 6-9 215 SF from Kentucky. Both shoot >46% from the field and both are the best rebounders of their team. They both should be available in the 7-10 picks...

I like those choices. Both could be solid contributors after a while. They seem like TMo's with offensive game.

I was thinking Donyell Marshall.

Jeffries also hits 41% of his 3ptrs and is really smart (something the Rox lack). He and EG would work great together.

I havent seen Jeffries in action too much to judge his athleticism, etc. But he seems (on paper at least) to have solid game and good height. I've liked him since he came out of high school.

there are two reasons to draft jayson williams
if he is as good as steve francis it is a good dilema to have
number 2 what if steve gets injured next season remember
1-19 record [QUOTE]
