I posted this in a response to a thread in the Rockets Forum, but for those of you (like myself) who spend alot of time in the Hangout, I thought you might like this.

    http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27774

I got tickets for the game at around 6:30 on the night of the Nets game, and after a long and snowy journey through the Lincoln Tunnel, I arrived at Continental Airlines Arena with just about two minutes until tipoff. perfect timing.

me and my rocketfriend sit down(with our Rocketgear), when this guy sits right down next to me and says "Oh, Rocket Fans."

I asked him if he was a ROcket fan as well, and sure enough, he is a fellow Texan transplant here in the NY area, cheering for his Rockets. Strange enough.....

As we sit and watch the game, he asks the big question....

"So where do you get your Rockets information on the internet?"

    Naturally I answer "ClutchCity",

    he answers "Dot Net."

TUrns out he is none other than ROCKET RICH NYC!!

our seats were right next to each other.

Its a small world after all..........

Haha, that is awesome! I would have found this to have been an odd coincidence if it had occured in the Compaq Center amongst many other rockets fans and probably several bbs posters, but for 2 bbs members to just happen to have tickets right next to each other at a Rockets game in New Jersey is even crazier!

    Good meeting ya Across110th Street.

Maybe we can get more Clutchcity.net people to sit together at the Rockets-Nets game next year. Although, I would imagine next year will be harder to get tickets with the Nets playing better.

    GO ROCKETS!

    I too was there guys!

It takes a hearty Rocket fan to brave a snow storm to see our favorite team!

We were in section 116. Not bad seats.

Really would have liked to see Francis play. And where was Willis? I thought the Rockets hung well and played a great game. Although I was disappointed in Cato's play.

Anyway, it was fun to see my Rockets!

    Yep!

It was a slam dunk! I was going to drive, but decided that might not be such a good idea. The bus was soooo easy! Drops you off right at the door and picks you up right at the exit!

All for $6.50! Best deal in town!

I think the Rockets play the Nets in a week or so. We should find a bar for the "New York Rocketball Association"!

    We'll kick that Austin contingent's a$$! :p

in that case, we might have bumped into each other as well!

we got on the 7:30 bus at Port Authority.

after the game, we stood in that SNOW waiting for the buses. we got onto the second bus after the first one filled up.
did you see anyone with ROckets Gear on?

I agree, for $6.50(round trip), front door service is worth it.

as for watching games, we see alot of games at BLondies on 79th btwn bway and amsterdam.

they have League Pass and they always play the game you request.

maybe we will run into each other soon.

    GO ROCKETS
    I LOVE NY
